The Highs and Highs of this great company
I couldn't agree more Wolfbag2,
Along with Brunner investment trust and Merchants trust the spine of my own has been extremely resilient over decade's, with rising capital and solid, steady, well covered dividends.
Certainly a great backbone for any portfolio - buy and forget :P
Out of all my holdings this is the only one I'd have to be pushed into selling
It's a forever thing!
Halma have been progressive over the long term with a rising dividend to match,
Back in 1983 they were a pound a share and my 3157 holding from that time has been through all the market crashes and turbulence to the present day
So glad they made it ;0)
Interesting webinar from Charles King Director of Investor Relations at Halma. Over the long term they have doubled sales and profits every 6 years.

point taken wolfbag2, no reason this share price should be flying, under lock downs,
This is one share where patience is required - I for one am a firm fan - it has its' moments - but seems to double in value every three years !
Deal coming off this share.nose dive, with brexit deal
Don't worry ,Mahmas01. you have your chance next year. the be another crash soon ,keep your powder dry an old saying !
Causal, True slow but steady finally moving north hopping all my losses should be erased before weekend. Only regret I have is not being able to top-up at the rock bottom price due ISA limit :-(
As i said Mahmas01. this Brexit could be a cloud, a could that's have a sliver lining on this company.

Mahmas01 told you commodities are the one, don't get me wrong they dew for pull back, but should pulled out when 6% down.
never met a lame share ,not even moved with all the activity this month ,like watching Brexit dragging.
Your right Mahmas01,like said down to Brexit. only think about this share you can wake up in the morning knowing that share won't collapse
causal, Every indicator is crying out loud HLMA is a buy now. But it ended up negative yet once again :-( may be these 80% of institutional investors are waiting for the trade deal to be finalised. I wish I have invested all my money in Boohoo and Team17 I would be laughing today.
Seems Mahmas01 to got a bit of footing at least.
i am ropped in now, in this share, Luckyball. better investing in anglo american,or another commodity related share, for next year .
Morning lucky ball, on last winter portfolio ,it was up over all 14% ? .down to Brexit, might swing in by looks of it as a safety. if not share price won't be going any fast soon ,better bargains out there with vaccine kicking in next year. looking into it profit, want be any good, using the money to expand, only thing good is that they be picking up other companies on the cheap,in 21.
Highly unusual for this share. Usually stable, slow, steady growth.
Recent RNS results were fairly positive.
It WILL rebound, but agree it will take weeks / months
