Good grief if any body is stupid enough to borrow money to invest in AIM companies they need to have their head examined. There is no such thing as a nailed on win with AIM, I suspect we have all been in various companies that were going to make us all millionaires but ended up losing money.
Whatever you do don't borrow many to invest in AIM. Only invest in AIM if you are prepared to lose the lot. Hopefully this company succeeds, it has a very good CEO and it has done its homework over the last 5 years but it is still a gamble.
ST ("I mean, if you want to derisk, this is it!")
I am with you on that for anyone who wants to do it, its now or never as once this hits He, the next floor will be £0.31 (as per H&P) - it doesnt matter if 2 out of 3 fails for Tai.
saying that, the fact if was declared we have a working seal and trap for He in the subsurface recently should give you some comfort we hopefully will get some results, soon.
If you look at the risked and unrisked valuation from H&P:
we have an underlying 3p from options, 21 raise and YE cash (1p each) assigned, under risked column
Tai risked - 4p, unrisked 31p
Mbumi risked - 6p, unrisked 37p
Itumbula risked 5p, unrisked 29p
Kasuku risked 7p, unrisked 28p
So if we hit 1 of the targets for each above, we should be at £1.28 (£1.25 + 3p)
If on our first drill, all 3 targets are dusters for Tai, we still have other targets therefore the unrisked (minus Tai) is 97p and risked is 18p.
Will it be a duster on Tai on all 3 targets? i don't think so but lets wait for the wireline logs to give us the good news tomorrow or weekend (or Monday / Tuesday next week).
Does anyone recall the total number of prospect sites that were under consideration? I think it was around 20 but not sure if that was amended after the seismic completed.
ST, I've never top sliced a share and it's been an error; I'd be better off if I had. But in the interest of consistency perhaps I should stick to 'not top-slicing' as it'll pay-off sooner or later – and slicing 'the one' would be quite annoying after never doing it before.
Having said that, selling a chunk of this one would mean doing so before solid results come through surely? If they do find He then why slice as it really will be just the start of a steep climb for the sp. And if they don't make a commercial find it'll be pretty much too late to sell by the time we hear.
It all leaves me very confused about when to sell, or indeed when to buy much more (and sell something else to fund the purchase).
As you say, we all have the same issues I guess.
yes I was thinking that eventually when all is kicking in 3-4 years time the dividends will come pouring out from it (the Tanzanian government will certainly want theirs!!!) and so by that we will also be paid dividends and they will make the investment we are all in today in the 20WING completely refunded.
Agreed with all comments - just need to understand that some people may have borrowed ££ to be involved (not that I agree with that) and that as soon as they can repay that and still be part of the journey then they would and should consider that as a prudent tactic. But each to their own and it’s great to be on board!! Tempted to top up (sold some others today)….. cheers all PJ
HE1 might then be a dividend cash cow due to low tech needed to extract and ship to customer.
As you say, thats a little way off.
I think Trek with his 500p mark seems the most reasonable sell value for HE1 once we find He in Rukwa and become successful regarding the other two drills, and we still have the prospects up north Tanzania where there is He seepage as well!
I have given some thought to this and reassessed by sell targets. Do I wait to make another 100% once, should we be successful finding He, reach 300p? Should I chase rainbows somewhere else?
I will have to consider our situation when we get to that price, I am sure, as I do have another target to buy once we sky rocket, hopefully. I am sure many here have the same "problems" to consider. Our CEO is a gem and maybe we might indeed become so big that the 500p may become a cheap target. Who knows. For the moment, I guess we should enjoy the ride.
All the best to genuine holders.
ST
It's just a small point, 30/40p is not much of a win, unless you're treating this stock like a kind of derivative of sports betting.
The fact remains if this exploration is successful then whether HE1 go into production themselves (unlikely) or they're bought out by a major, this stock price will be in the £'s not the pence.
I mean, if you want to derisk, this is it!
KR, let me see your theory, if we get to 40p it is because we have HE in the first well, right? That means we basically have derisked Rukwa to an extent, in my view. So, I imagine that 40p may potentially be multiples of it as far as finings in other wells are concerned. Why would anyone want to derisk? Just wondering.
Kev -de risk is important -
Let’s hope that point comes soon then we can sit back and watch the sp fly without (too much) fear :-)). Sky blue jonesy
Will you are 100% correct, when do we cash out on this one. It could reach 30/40 pence then over night drop to 5 pence.
My aim is to reach 40 pence then take out my initial investment and if it booms I get a bit of cash but if it fails I’ve not lost anything.
could not be more excited with this - just now a situation deciding when you bag out and then potentially suffer the FOMO on something enormous
No debts, fully funded, helium cost 100x more than normal gas, drilling the largest helium resource in the world a $50 billion asset vs a tiny mark cap of 140 mill, CEO is a world class geologist with a proven track record of drilling stuff up. ^^^
