If it is next year, then the ubber short-termers will panic and bale. The MM's will smell blood and have a field day, or three, but that'll be a perfect top up point. Anyway, hopefully that won't happen. 25% imo
@sdg1970, As long as they get the rig and ancillaries sorted, and even if its next year, the price should hold,
well as long as they dont raise before DM starts bopping about with excitement at the start of the year ;)
Dai: You won't see 5p here in the interim to the next RNS. You'll likely see that though if a negative 7am-er drops and it opens around 4-5p. All those stop losses (which you should never use on AIM imo) falling to the MM evil incarnates. At 7.4p, if I were looking for an entry I'd go for it. I shall likely buy more this week sometime.
5p Neither have I, and will be worried too, sitting on a painful loss, I have a nice loss now..
That proactive article is not well written, talking about 19p on success, and post production,
Sure not so long ago it was 19p risked, and 54p unrisked which would be post production, a lot more tempting.
But that will need updating when the drilling plan comes out or before
Not sure the audit will be completed August, they said Expected to restart Mid August,
Now I believe thats 80% of tests completed, no pass/fail details, so it could be 10% of those have failed and probably will need to be tested again, could be less, could be small jobs or big.. But I assume they are expected to be completed by the drilling compan in the next week or so, mid august.
We also dont know if the last 20% are quick or time consuming..
kooomey we are waiting on something, but we dont know, just speculation
I haven’t ever seen this at 5p, Iv seen it dip to 6.5 over Christmas time though. If it gets back there I’ll start to worry .
Getting Abit sick of this now to be honest. Quite a big let down this year.
I hope mid-end of august the rig audit is 100% and we can crack on.
Kinda of an odd RNS 80% complete.
I suppose news is better than no news
No1, I was waiting for 5p but looks like sdg1970 has changed camps ;)
Price is hold well
@sdg1970, Would be nice for some specifics, but they are getting there, but that does'nt take away being left in the dark when the ducks start falling out of line.. Still we dont know whats passed/failed, could be the windscreen washers or the skate not lifting pipes, jobs on totally different scales..
It would be funny if the tier 1 company is CNPC, maybe noble popped over for a beer, and dropped their business card..
Right Void ;)
Check voids link out, its great
Iv got 399,000 already can’t afford anymore. Average 8p
Yes Dai, always believed in the project and the company, but with them getting caught with their pants down, rig wise, I had backed off somewhat into the dark, cynical corners. I still am not 100% of the opinion it will happen this year, maybe 75%, but I liked the tone of the RNS and see no reason to not be upbeat about it. My real concern tbh isn't the rig - though I agree with others on the preferred field shakedown scenario - it's early rains, consigning us into the pavilion until Spring. Plenty of wickets, but the click is ticking on essentially the final days play....
No1. so is that your 500k buy?
Void posted a link to the Crew, 4 man I think, full of energy..
all reads well to me, David doesn't seem to have been doing as much pegging as originally thought. Nice one dave
Void, I could'nt believe, Be was a language, Ver was truth...
When I ask google my name in the morning, it does'nt know, good thing its written in the bottom of my coffee cup...
After reading DBD post about rig bookings next year, I hope we are buying ;)
Hi Dia
Oh, your are so cryptic, that, amongst
other things, is why l like you so much:)
Didn’t realise what l unfortunately implied.
I am a BELIEVER, should know that by now:)
However, having a contingency, is always good practice:)

@legalwolf.
Key components including the rig carrier, sub-structure and mast hydraulics, top-drive, iron roughneck, mud tank valves and mud pumps have been observed in operation.- Thats what must happen to observe a pass or fail..
list not complete such as no mention of skate rack for pipe loading, maybe last tests, simply missed from list..
ADC rig audit 80% complete - key components have been tested and operated successfully with no unrecoverable critical faults identified to date - So how many faults need putting right of this 80%?
So 20% left to test plus anything that needs remedying,
Why did we stop at 80%, when time is moving on..
Could be auditors already over extended time so need rebooking, Tests cant continue without repairs, simply a good decision on circumstances, waiting on items to complete last 20%.. Who knows,
So a bit smoke and mirrors, so open for criticism, we have no idea whats left to do, passed and failed..
but still good news, they are progressing and I doubt its an easy task, long hours too,
@latorre, just some banter ;)
Its good to know the crew have a break,
Void, see that Be "Lie" Ver,
Ver means truth in Latin, and Lie means lie in English, and Be is language unlike English
Kind of suggests its the word to use when you dont know either way :)
@DD13 , Now Ian said Tai-2 was just Data collection, and we did'nt have a rig, probably banned from interviews now
@sdg1970, your starting to sound like a believer, good man :)
There's no reason to question the factual accuracy of information that has been released to the market in a RNS.
Whilst this whole situation and sense of racing against the clock is not ideal at all, I think it is really unfair to accuse the company of rank incompetence. It's also misleading and false to suggest that they have had a year to sort this out. That is NOT the reality - there's work that had to be done following last year's drilling and before they were ready to start the process for this year's drill programme. More importantly, the reality is also that they have a restricted and restrictive budget, and have had to operate in an environment where demand for Rigs has been high, and the costs are likely to have increased as a result of that and inflation. They could have raised and gone for a quicker/easier, but more expensive Rig option, by doing a raise. MANY were expecting them to go down this route. I know, because I was on this bb around Xmas last year, when a placing was the expected direction of travel, with people saying it would be impossible to secure a conventional Rig with under $10 million. I also had those doubts.
But instead, and much to the surprise of many, He1 have seemingly decided to work within budget, which has necessarily meant having to cast the net far and wide for a Rig solution. That is exactly what has happened, with them going from Texas to now Kenya. Who knows what other options have also been considered? Probably quite a few...
You get the clear sense from the RNS, and the updates before that, that a LOT of work/activity is going on right now to secure a drill programme this year, with this Rig being the one they have finally opted for.
And if they manage to pull this off, within budget and on timescale, and avoiding the need for a raise, then it should be hats off to the management team shouldn't it? All imo
Clearly a lot with short positions, are loosening their ties and swallowing hard today. Some are clearly desperate and scarred witless. The rot that comes out the woodwork, eh....

ITV - Never no doubt, ‘CHRISTMAS’ is coming early this year:)
As I sure DM reads these boards, when/if the rig passes the audit end of August and before we send it on its way to Tanzania, how about getting Helium one global signage attached to the unit.
Onwards and upwards
@ dia2belts
I believe that He1 believe, that they can pull this off bigtime and I m not just on about the rig, anyone can pick up on any word , or phase and reverse its meaning as Art was doing in his earlier posts.
They probably use the word believe as it's the closest word to certain. We all know that nothing is certain in life and shouldn't be taken for granted except death.
If I doubted He1 I wouldn't be holding, of course we are going to see uncertainty along the way, but all buisnesses do and He1 are no exception in this especially with the current climate.
The opposite of believe is doubt, are you a believer or a doubter?.
Onwards and upwards.
@latorre, never mind, just realised..
Because the audit is delaying the completion of phase 2 drilling, and future drillings are those not yet started, then its referring to future drillings ;)
@latorre, here is a question for you...
"There are no major failures identified to date that Helium One management team "believe" would prevent the Rig from being used successfully in a future drilling campaign."
I believe because they use believe that they may believe, and only believe because believe does not mean for certain, that certain major failures may be an exception to what they believe, but I am not certain thats what I believe they believe, what your thoughts ?
@DD13, I dont think we have got to the 1st peak yet with no discovery, you never know if they pull off this audit they may decide on a new direction, failing that the CIA will be impressed by DMs smoke and mirrors, and probably hire him, while I go and join the foreign legion after being made homeless..
@latorre, the preferred wheel polish is short lead, along with extra bubbly wash...
Its look like we will have a rig for phase 2 so overall goods news, just have to wait and see when ..
As they have said 3 times its 'suitable rig" too, that I was already convinced of even though I am unsure of what magazines the driver has left under the seat...
