Invested here since last July, can't complain, don't watch it everyday, no need like other wonk pot outfits!
Shareholders Armstrong and Rath Dhu have been consistently selling down over the past year. despite the company transformation and value .
Armstrong dropped from 290k to 140k
Rath Dhu from 190 to 150
They are long term holders unloading and drops of 10-20k keep getting dropped .
I bough in before the results, as a near Graham Net Net. When I investigated the company and looked into the lighting division, I was very excited, seems like an excellent growth business. The webinars on the company page regarding the lighting are well worth a watch.
I was surprised that is sold off to be honest, but also happy to buy more sub £1.00.
The trading update soon should really start the re-rate.
What makes you think there is a large seller here?
Holders is proving to be a classic Benjamin Graham share .
Admittedly quite hard to buy but ridiculous value , yet still with growth in a rising tide market and stuffed with cash .
This valuation is madness especially when compared to some of the dross on the market facing headwinds .
Just doesn't add up
3.1 million cash
3.9 million market cap
Rising tide intelligent lighting division growing rapidly with 37% margins
12 million turnover
German PCB division disposed of .
For anyone looking for a long term hold total no brainer.
Shares quite easy to buy at moment as two larger shareholders continue to sell down .

The BBC has installed Casambi wireless lighting controls across the UK. Nine major sites – including the broadcaster’s London HQ – will benefit from Casambi’s slick, intuitive, app-based lighting control harnessing Bluetooth Low Energy mesh.

Saw this on my linked in feed (wasn't searching for it). While it does not mention Holders, it shows the Casambi lighting supplied to the BBC. The Webinar on the HDT website speaks of the BBC as a customer, so just putting 2&2 together.

No. I set up a thread on afn many years ago on Holders. This is a multi year breakout. Always paid out a divi and often very volatile with hopeless spread. I have had a policy of adding a few below 50 pence when the spread narrowed. Performance has been up and down….always saw this as a takeover target as it is really too small and the directors too old to continue but it has never happened. Low amount of free stock and they do not place much if at all. Would I add at this level? No but maybe that takeover or sale of the business is finally going to happen. Holders has been a very decent multi year hold with the divi but also rather boring. In the same timescale many racy companies have gone bust but this is still going and looking like a pleasant start to 2022. My target is 150p to sell a few and I reckon I will get it.
just started researching this stock also looking at eaas.Any idea of profit forecasts?
Nice rise yesterday, I’m now 50% up on this one. This has some way to go I think..

Fantastic results released last week with a big chunk of cash in the bank awaiting investment in Holder's strategy implementation. Holders have the market on their side with government and social trends supporting their lighting strategy, they have a great management in place and have the drive to succeed as a company. Incredibly exciting time ahead for Holders. Will be great to see the good news soon once sale of PCB side of business has gone through and the cash is in the bank.

Report coming out soon!
Many job openings within Holders due to company growth and expanding workforce. Recruiting for engineers, sale roles, managers. Job descriptions look optimistic. This is the latest job posting on LinkedIn:
Looking for a new role, working for a rapidly growing company using some of the most exciting technologies in lighting? Look no further!
Holders are now hiring for a UK Lighting Controls Commissioning Engineer to support our expanding project business. This is a great opportunity to take up a permanent position, delivering wireless lighting controls into some of the most exciting lighting projects in the UK & Ireland.
Waiting in anticipation for Holders upcoming report, soon to be released this month!
What do I believe we will see on the report?
* A boom in profits from their printed circuit board (PCB) sales. In early 2021, there was a global shortage of PCB materials which has a significant effect on the electronic and automotive manufacturing industries. Luckily for Holders, they found themselves in a great position as they are suppliers of these PCB materials. So demand would have most likely risen for their products, which would have skyrocketed their prices...resulting in some nice revenue for the company.
* I suspect in the next report we will also be seeing some exciting prospects due to their Casambi partnership. In September 2021, Halogen and Fluorescent light sales are going to be banned - giving Holders a great foot into the industry. From there, the company is on the road to success.
So lets see what the future brings for Holders: I believe it is going to be a bright one!

Looking good here. Results next month and 50% rise in the last 3 months. Does someone know something……I think the answer is YES…
Quite surprised I managed to find this all on my own just browsing through the LSE list of companies, very quiet BB, looks under valued.
Lovely recovery share and classic Benjamin Graham play trading way below NAV , no debt, and solid management .
Directors and board renumeration low and seems to be run for shareholders benefit not a typical AIM gravy train with huge salaries for underperformance and no share issues .
This this can only recover .
Looks promising here. Just bought in with a hunch and some knowledge of what the company is doing. Good luck all.

Yes lovely rise yesterday…could it be the announcement that all halogen and fluorescent lights are going to be banned for sale in the UK from September? If so then should prove to be good news for HDT!
Nice ride today
net current asset 3.5m£
market cap 2m£
operating cash flow (during pandemic) : 0.7m£
is there anything cheaper and valuer than this in the aim market?
Many thanks HDT, as usual I leave before the party really begins. Plenty upside here though, GLA.

I've kept my eye on this for weeks because I could see this had potential. The fact it has swung to a small loss doesn't concern me given what happened is hopefully a complete one-off, and I'm impressed by how they improved the amount of cash in the bank, and maintained the dividend, but this outlook statement below is very underwhelming! I'm certainly not going to be investing for now but best of luck to you all those here. I may be proven wrong!
"At present we have only limited visibility as to the likely level of trading in the second half of the year. We are encouraged by recent improvements in some divisions, both in quotations and order intake, as compared to the first half but cannot be certain that this will follow through to the end of the year. Our management team and work force remain committed to managing costs and containing working capital, so that the business may benefit from any improvement in trading conditions."

yep, it's weirdly difficult to build up a decent holding
tp 80p ++
Not enough shares to go round here; I'm still waiting for my near 3 week old order to be fulfilled. I can sell but why would I want to do that? A tightly run, profit making firm (dyor etc) hopefully equipped to deal with the inevitable hard times ahead. Let's see. GL holders(!), spectators.
