Correction "losses" not "loses" OCD kicked in and could not leave it!!!!
Hi Truro, Like you I have been in here for a long time. Just had a look back on my contract notes and 13 Mar 2006 (15.45pps) was my maiden purchase!!!! Looks like we have shared the same path. I hope the call that we both made back in the days proves to be the right call and I would like to see that sooner rather than later though considering how long we both have been in here............. I still continue to have faith in this company but as you say we could have a game changer. Keep the faith and may your gains always exceed your loses. Rgds S
Interesting timing here. We start in June so will have 3 good months to boost our September year end. In addition the September '24 year ban on HCP can only boost both year end '24 but all future years.
Hi saintly, I've been hear since '06 and yes the delays have been horrendous, some 13 years for airbus and around 9 for Leonardo and if my memory serves HCP was originally announced to be banned In '17. I think at last we have a game changer on our hands. Nice to know I made the right call! Only 20 years to make a profit!
Rather surprised this is only up 0.5p this morning (so far)
Still the timing of my purchases here impeccable.
I guess it’ll take a while for the penny to drop because this is still valued to go bust practically!
And with Airbus work now on top of the core Oil Services and now turbines there ain’t no way this baby is going bust!
Whilst the latest news on this partnership is well received what I actually would like to see is monies actually coming through the accounts and ultimately a reflective increase in the share price. It seems like we have waited a lifetime for approvals and contracts to be processed but when we actually start to see a well deserved rise in the share price that for me will be when this company has started to turn things around. Looking forward to the next set of results and to actually get an update on how much is going to start flowing in to the coffers!! Continued good fortune to all HDD investors, those considering investing in here and those just watching. Rgds S
Gardner partnership good news. Confirmation that Hardide better than competing coatings of Hard Chrome and HVOF. Fill up the furnaces, bring home the bacon...
I see this having a bit of a run up to results next Wednesday 17th.
Historically low SP hard to see it going lower. The hint of better things and this will soon move.
I think this is potentially a great recovery play at these levels. £6.5m MC and SP at historic low.
Sales to price ratio at just 1.2 currently. Company is well managed. Costs have been trimmed. Sooner or later demand will return and when it does this will not stay at £6.5m mc.
Buy low sell high
I’d settle for more orders irrespective of contracts.

Let’s hope this is the year of less news and more orders.
Hi Hardide if your looking in. No news since Nov 22. Used to be a nice trickle every month.

Encouraging there is a clear strategy in the financial statements focused on sorting out the operational performance of Hardide. Let's hope the new chairman starts delivering on the strategy and the value is delivered to shareholders in the short term. 78% of revenue comes from 5 customers which really hasn't changed much in recent years.

Well he has perhaps moved the squib into the sun a bit!!
The biggie is the resurging O & G markets so we should do well there. Airbus is apparently going to increase parts - could even get revenue into double digit percentages!! This has to be an improving revenue stream. Turbine orders should come through so perhaps we might get good interim figures and as always we continue testing in new arears.
Got a feeling this year is going to be important. Covid effect over and supply chain shortages easing all we need is sales!!

Nahhh. They appear to have Airbus & Leonardo on board, both European (silly Brexit). As long as nothing falls out of the sky, I think it were a good update but as always dyor etc
Well, just a bit of a damp squib. The bit that disappoints me is the 13 years of Airbus testing and jumping through their hoops plus the 9 years of testing with Leonardo and we achieve 4% of revenue!!!
The good bit is the energy sector. I remember some 2/3 years saying the Turbine guys seem a lot more proactive. They've certainly saved our bacon in my book!!!
As I've said before HDD moves comparatively slowly but at least we are progressing on all fronts. Successful testing is underway on hopefully more immediate projects and there is a range of them underway. No figures on the 1st quarter's revenue but at least it was an improvement! The interims will be crucial. It's always jam tomorrow here folks!
