Extremely angry and sad. We lost against private insider dealing. No other explanation when company selling assets worth $50m for $18m to a company in the neighbourhood.
AIM regulator and Delaware Court did absolutely nothing to help shareholders.
Remember directors names. Do not touch companies they are sitting on boards.
Best of luck all, especialy to those who tried to fight on our behalf.
So long, farewell, to one and all.
Even JC failed big time as he shouldn't have cancelled the EGM. Nighthawk bosses say no objections received. It's a lie, that's what it is.
Although this was the most likely outcome, until today we could still cling on to some tiny hope. When these things happen it is easy to blame ourselves for not seeing it coming earlier etc.But the fact is when you are sitting on a massive loss and a company keeps suggesting a better future [waterflood etc.] it is human nature to believe it, in the hope of seeing your money back.By the time it starts looking really bad there is hardly anything left anyway [Then suspension] It certainly feels here they did not try hard to find a better solution and surely we should have been told the waterflood had failed. It was only disclosed on the chapter 11 application. I like many have been involved in several wipe outs [aswell as this one] who ever you blame the result is always the same. Shareholders don't even get an apology for their years of loyalty [in many cases] and all their hard earned they are going to lose because the company screwed up.It is always hard to accept, but what choice do we have.I hope we all have better luck in the future.
No objections received? What about shareholders, our objections don't count??
No objections received? What about shareholders, ut objections don't count??
The directors promised the world from the beginning and look at it now , someone should be held accountable.
i used to trade this years ago , luckily i do not hold any shares in HAWK .
Nighthawk Energy To Wind Up Following US Bankruptcy Case
Tue, 26th Jun 2018 13:14
LONDON (Alliance News) - US-focused oil company Nighthawk Energy PLC said on Tuesday that following the sale of its oil and gas assets, the company will be wound up and its remaining assets liquidated under the US Bankruptcy code.
During the Chapter 11 case, Nighthawk confirmed that no additional bids were received to compete against the stalking horse bid proposal made by Polaris Production Partners LLC, and cancelled the auction scheduled on Tuesday.
As a result the US Bankruptcy Court will conduct a hearing to approve the sale of assets to Polaris Production on Thursday, with closing to be expected on or around Sunday.
Proceeds from the sale will go towards reducing the CBA loan and paying off expenses incurred during the Chapter 11 cases.
In May, Nighthawk Energy said its US subsidiary Nighthawk Production LLC had filed a voluntary petition for reorganisation under chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code.
Nighthawk Production's subsidiary OilQuest LLC also filed for chapter 11.
With these petitions, the two units joined Nighthawk Energy and and its direct subsidiary, Nighthawk Royalties LLC, both of which filed similar petitions in April.
Shares in Nighthawk Energy remains suspended.

I have been in contact with AIM on 3 occasions, standard reply...data protection!!! In a nutshell
Cgm..yes I wonder what has gone on here also, an opportunity missed, but why..what is in it for JC
Had the opportunity to oust the board and didn’t. He is far worse in my eyes
This case is reminding me Irish properties sale in 2013-2014 to foreign investors. When house prices were recovering (oil price here), the banks sold loads of properties with tenants paying rents, to the aggressive buyers. The tenants were excluded from the process. Thy sold properties at discount and today the buyers are enjoying 300% difference in price their paid. Of course nobody part from tenants seen this as a bad decision back in the days.
Remember the name - Rick McCullough, Chairman - And steer well clear in the future !! Rick McCullough, Chairman
That's 4-th oil company that got my wiped out;-(. Not luck and skills (to pick right one).
Rick & Co you carry on drawing your salary to the end.
Mr Claesson who sold shareholders out also!
Yeah that's it hope the bosses get boils on their boll. Ocks
That’s it then. All but over....
will go down in history, one way or the other!
I would have thought interested bidding partners would request have insight to last annual report, why not shareholders!!
Well they are cutting it fine for our annual report for 2017. AIM rules require that they are sent to all shareholders by Annual accounts 19. An AIM company must publish annual audited accounts which must be sent to its shareholders without delay and in any event not later than six months after the end of the financial year to which they relate. So are the BOD we are not in existence by 28/6/18, which could be the case.
Yes. And last week a notice to say I had several viruses !!! It's just good old LSE taking money for advertising - s-o-d the fact that it will spook some of their users. LSE sit is showing "Not secure"... Keep your anti-virus up to date - and consider whether you should remain a user.. LSE might just do something then (Yeah right).
Getting automatic redirects from LSE to malware sites? 2 times in 3 when I visit the front page I get a redirect to a malware site. Before I report it to LSE i was wondering if any of you people are also seeing it? All the machines I use to access are fully malware and virus protected and behind firewalls, both hardware and software fw's.
Hi Hick, good morning to you. Now that took you a long time!!!? Besides May, we also need April production figures...lol
Morning Scarlet. 26,539 divided by 30 is 885 (ish), is it not?
BOD members to busy fighting their corner to publish a) Annual Report 2017? b) May production?
