Can anyone explain to me in laymans terms whats happening to out shares now please ? I sort of understand but any information is welcome .
Gotabesirius, totally agree and of course Amanda Van Dyke is both a Director of Gwik and Paternoster so she will want this to succeed from a personal status to her peers as well as financial. atb
HMRC will not allow delisted shares in an ISA. you will not loose them but they will be moved to a normal trading account.
Great news for you guys in here. Paternoster have an outstanding record of backing AIM micro cap outfits at an early stage and seeing them multi bag.....
@Y00020978 - I've just emailed Barclays this morning asking the question. My holding is also within an investment ISA. Will let you know if I hear anything useful :) Cheers.
Cheers guys. Sure it will all start to take shape nicely now over the next few weeks. Good luck all, our patience seems to have been rewarded!!
from what i understand...cancellation of admiission to trading doesnot mean you lose your shares. it just means you cant trade them on AIM. you still hold shares in the company. I would expect that there would be a conversion of those shares into shares of whatever entity is relisted and these would be tradeable.
Don't know mate, I don't hold my Gwik shares in ISA so would only be guessing as to that scenario so cannot offer knowledgeable comments I am afraid. atb
maybe jackpot in 6 months time break even for a lot of us long termers on relist unless you averaged down into suspension
its been a ride, thats for for sure for, now to HOLD and watch this unfold!!!
Hi Boom welcome back mate, one of the original LTH's haven't seen you on here for a while. Will be worth the wait mate for sure. Quite simply double whammy, basically getting an investment and your money back in another (if you want it!) Who says you cant have your cake and eat it lol atb
no fears it states in rns no more dilution The i3 investment is intended to run parallel to and exclusive of the Proposed Transaction and, for the sake of clarity, i3 shares received by Glenwick following the IPO will be distributed in their entirety to Glenwick shareholders, however this will exclude any new shareholders as part of the Proposed Transaction and any concurrent capital raising.
As a very LTH a while back I posed the ? WHY...now I know..gla pompey
As always the doubters are posting here. If you look at PRS's track history they back winners and as this is also Amanda's first active involvement since joining PRS I doubt she'd be flogging a dead horse either. Patience but they are here to make money.
I'm kinda pleased but totally confused, just wait for trading to start and see what investment I have,
in a heads of terms imo if an extension would not be granted. The Nomad would have been involved in this. Looking very positive. Just so long as the £130k is the only dilution to our current shareholding in i3. This gives us 2 bites of the cherry but I want a large percentage of my GWIK shares in i3 rather than a new gold opportunity so I hope it is fresh capital raising from here ex i3 GWIK shares.
Am now more excited about gwik than i3. Should in theory be a multiple gain upon re listing.
Hi all Delighted how this is playing out....topping up as it dropped in to suspension seems to have been the right call (for once!!) Mjng/royo/miler/quint - how do you see this playing out now? Do you expect we will still fold at the start of March and resist as a seperate entity, or will this satisfy the NOMAD to allow us an extension and continue trading as GWIK in Q2? Cheers
I only comment on boards I'm invested in, sure I've only got 1.8m of these but I've seen deals frequently go tits up at the last minute. Until we actually get our i3 shares I won't be counting the chickens, so to speak. This isn't a negative slant, just a nervy assessment. Appreciate your thoughts though.
I didn't want Jaap to go either but he is 78 years of age and i3 have their own Board of Directors and are experts in the oil field so probably understandable in that Jaap's work is done here. Hope he was well rewarded with a good send off. Existing Gwik shareholders get a 50% discount to i3 sp on re-list. With Cora gold important to remember it is not a done deal yet and talks are non binding but no reason why it cannot be pulled off, here's hoping. atb
JP job is done, it is because of him and his contacts we have invested in I3. If you look at I3 board then you will realise that their is enough experience at the helm already, high quality people. People like JP are brought in to do certain jobs and then move on, exactly what has happened here. In terms of the Gold deal, that is a bonus and a good one at that by the looks of it. AVD is running the show now and take a min to look at her track record and respect in the city, that should put all your fears to rest!!. I am amazed that you and a fellow poster have tried to put a negative slant on this, absolutely amazed. Sometime in life you are just in the right place at the right time, this is going to make people a lot of money
I also don't like the fact that Jaap is leaving as we pivot towards the mining sector, hopefully I'm just being needlessly twitchy: The Company advises that Dr. Jaap Poll has stepped down from the Board with immediate effect. Dr. Poll joined the Board of Glenwick in 2016 as its oil and gas sector expert and during his tenure Glenwick completed a pre-IPO investment into North Sea oil and gas company i3 Energy, which is currently seeking an admission to trading on AIM. As Glenwick pivots towards the mining sector (via the Proposed Transaction), it is the appropriate time for Dr. Poll to step down from the Board
Cancellation before i3?? Maybe why a reason why we acquired Cora? The i3 investment is intended to run parallel to and exclusive of the Proposed Transaction and, for the sake of clarity, i3 shares received by Glenwick following the IPO will be distributed in their entirety to Glenwick shareholders, however this will exclude any new shareholders as part of the Proposed Transaction and any concurrent capital raising. The details of this distribution will not be concluded prior to the anticipated Cancellation. In the announcement of 15 September 2016, it was outlined that Glenwick would receive a material uplift relative to the IPO valuation of i3 on conversion at IPO. Following the announcement of 10 January 2017 that i3 proposes to seek admission to trading on AIM, it has been confirmed that the conversion price will be set at a 50% discount to the price at which any new shares in i3 are subscribed for by investors at the time of the IPO.
Oir investment is worth double on listing.
Hope Jan Nelson is not involved!!!!!!! Early guess, but we should re enlist over market cap of at least 5 million. Ha. I'm alright Jack.
