plenty going on, but we dont seem to be involved with the hydrogen projects really, the usual geo mapping is keeping this afloat ...for now
Https://renewablesnow.com/news/brazil-uk-to-work-on-green-hydrogen-hub-842423/
i dont think inveerness is on a back bunrer, getech just havent bothered to update us and on Shoreham. I really hope we dont become the next Velocys
The recent news of hydrogen use for fuel/ energy being put on the back burner, so to speak, is clearly not helping here. Even RR have halted their hydrogen programme
The SP is downright ugly right now and I’m not sure that we’ll see a major turnaround any time soon.
Patience - and lots of it is required here methinks…..
No reply to my email as expected.
Sent a scatching email to Bennett this morning,
Well we need getech to explain whats going on with inverness, H2 Green and shoreham port, theres been no decent updates for a long time
COP28: UN climate talks take aim at planet-warming food https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-67594303
Need this to become more than words
A number of hydrogen projects currently experiencing significant delays atm. I'm working on one with a large energy company in Scotland and delays have been over a year now due to planning and BEIS
Velocys totally screwed, problem is getech is similar in terms of we have 2 big projects, ZERO News (we have achieved net zero) and we dont have the funds for those projects
Yeah theres no news anywhere on this Inverness green hydrogen hub. jeez, words fail me right now
Getech should be much higher, but until they learn how to communicate to shareholders we won’t go anywhere fast
Oh ok i didnt know that, ok the presentations should be online soon so we can see ourselves then. but all this macro agenda about hydrogen and climate, one would have hope getech be at 50p but we ainT! cry into my cereal bowl.
Take no notice of Book5 on ADVFN he talks total rubbish
Advfn - someone saying the presentations werent great apparently
GTC are not alone in the small/micro cap space in taking a hammering in the SP over recent months. I don't agree that all these initiatives with partners require RNS, that's pointless. It can be mentioned in any trading update.
The lack of updates on H2Green is troubling IMO. I expected to hear about funding agreements in place for these, given GTC can't fund these initiatives. It makes me think that they're engaged on divesting H2Green
Yeah i agree with you but the reason for no rns is simply cuz they cant be bothered, thats obvious
I don’t think a takeover is on the cards and I wasn’t alluding to such an event. I rather meant that at the next update, they will be able to refer to new contracts, solid business coming in and hopefully beat their previous forecast and expectations.
The market does not reward ‘trading in line with expectations’ and something has got to give this share price a good kick up the bum. I don’t like to speculate because what’s happening is anybody’s guess but I can’t help but think there must be a reason why they are avoiding RNS announcements. No company wants to see its share price tank and with the re visiting oil & gas as announced at last update, they do have to show progress.
I took one look at the sp under 6p this morning and could not fathom how we got here. At the very least an RNS is warranted to say that the BOD can see no reason for the decline in sp and business is ongoing, if not announcing their recent contracts.
Badly done Getech……
I dont think theres any takeover, the elephant in the room is H2 Green and no updates on SGN/Inverness project
For over 2 months, the company have failed to respond to my emails.
Having properly looked into this matter in the last few days, it is my opinion that the BOD are privy to price sensitive information and as such are deemed insiders. This would explain why, despite verbal assurances to me from the CEO, director purchases have not been forthcoming.
I believe that it is something positive - Whether it is a deal they are working on, or they are in receipt of a bid for the company, but it’s gone on long enough and it’s time for the company to communicate to their shareholders. I have written this on this BB board and on ADVFN in the hope it will put pressure on the company to act ahead of tomorrow’s investor event or to encourage shareholders who are going tomorrow to put this directly to Richard Bennett.
Well i dont know SH, and he might just be averaging down, i dont know. Im just hoping he is in daily talks with the board. the only big win here is the 2 hydrogen projects in my opinion - shoreham and inverness, im not quite sure what SH has invested for? hes in big! he needs to push the board to be more vocal in PR on videos and RNSs.
Morning draft
I just had to address it for the attention of IR…….
Think I’m going to fire one off to Richard Bennett as well….. the last thing he needs is random investors piling in to his inbox so hopefully something will be said or done.
Unless what they’re hoping for is to stun the market on their next trading update….. there has to be something bubbling away in the background for Hawthorn to keep increasing his already substantial holding. Anything market sensitive should be announced, but they could legitimately say they are announcing it on their own website.
It’s all a bit smoke & mirrors I think I think…..
I just spoke to ABu (the business manager at Getech), apologies if i spelt his name wrong, yeah he totally got where i was coming from about the lack of rnss and everything just appearding in getech news on the website. Its difficult for me to not start fuming but i tried to stay calm, he was a nice person. he said he would tell his seniors the frustrations.
