Yes if you have the money in to cover it if not it automatically closes at their own set level. Or you can choose what price to sell at
Don't know about hl but +500 will have different leverages depending on the stock, but if you go up to gold level you can choose the leverage you want
You say "10:1 leverage = +1% I make 10%. -1% I lose 10%. ". So if the stock loses 20%, then you lose 200% , i.e. double what you put in in the first place?
I'm not familiar with this type of trading either. I have looked at MSTR on NASDAQ and see itwent from about $1050 yesterday to $1200 today. I can trade this on HL but how do you do the leveraging bit ?
They offer 100:1 leverage but that's too nuts for my ticker ♥
+500
Now up 8.1%, so I am up 81%. Its easy money with microstrategy because they always move big with bitcoin
What platform do you do that on?
10:1 leverage = +1% I make 10%. -1% I lose 10%. Simples. I use +500 for alot of my leveraged trades
What all this 10:1 leverage you go on about?
Bosh! 60% on open. Jubbly ☺
10:1 leverage
Holes? Watch microstrategy in 3 minutes
"So you're putting £10k in on Saturday are you splatt ?"
Just spat my coffee out.
Dont question splat too much. Holes appear.
I have been travelling all of this year. The days do tend to blend
Fair point. Might be 15k by Tuesday
So you're putting £10k in on Saturday are you splatt ? And you criticise kat for not knowing Monday is a bank holiday !
Microstrategy going to kick off again in ten minutes. Bitcoin climbing. Might have a free 10k to put in here tomorrow
The only way is up, massive baby.
Where do we go with this?
On wards we go nero..
Yeah, I'm sure many people bought throughout the "Top, Middle, or Bottom!" prices points and this has been an excellent opportunity to average down - hopefully we'll all "strike it lucky" here. I believe in time we will easily surpass the previous "Top" prices paid. I'm certainly feeling in a buoyant mood about this share
Yeah hope so.. my average has come down now from when i bought at the top lol... been averaging down over time
Personally, I think the worst is over and we're about to turn a corner. Confidence is going to come back very quickly with the next bit of positive news which could be dropped at any minute with this bod. I can't see this staying below 1p for very much longer at all. I think others are realising/thinking that too, with their top-ups today.
Kat thought we were trading on the AIM market - not someone who knows that much.
