I don't think kat has been trading that long as he doesn't understand the basics about forward selling.
Go back in history and i'm sure you'll find a comment from me about polly peck, too. not in BIDS for 20months... if you're going to find criticism with comments, look at the recent ones here and explain how wrong i am.
We need to pay for Semnet by 28th June give or take a few days.
Katstrangler thought BIDSTACK was a belta company
“…Raising equity can be an offensive or defensive move. Some raise cash from investors to repay debt and strengthen the balance sheet, while others do it to fund ambitious growth or an acquisition. This can define the mood and appetite among investors for an equity raise, which means some are welcomed by shareholders while others are not.“ - IG Trading
It has to be the latter that GST are doing, ie “ to fund ambitious growth or an acquisition”
Easysend and:
“…In addition, the Company is exploring further value enhancing acquisition opportunities that can assist with accelerating the development of the Group as it focuses on developing a borderless neobanking platform providing next-generation digital money solutions. Further announcements will be made in due course, as appropriate...”
Massive we normally get told in RNS placing was done on x day at average price for 10 days to placing date with a discount of x.
You can normally tell when sp drops for no reason as this sets the low price bar and start of range. Looking at this I don't think the discount was much. Would be nice to know.
"You can't forward sell 120million shares on a day that trades 73million. and, considering the previous days were: 12mill, 3mill and 9mill... that's just basic maths."
I take it kat believes that shares that have been forward sold even though they haven't been added yet will automatically show up on our volume today?
Is that what you're trying say?
Let me know if wish to discuss your misunderstanding on this matter.
Massive I wouldnt waste the time explaining
But it has been explained.
Basically everything this company does is wonderful and with the best of intentions.
Nothing to see here, just pile in more ££££ ; until the next unexplained dilution.
Well its been an eventful few days... all we can do is wait and see what the company acquirers with their newly found funds, I'm mildly intrigued
ATB to the LTH
Rubbish. Placings are done in a couple of days. The rns was released yesterday to let the placees get out. Very Very poor showing.
THese were forward sold a few weeks back.
Another note my broker asked yesterday if I would be interested if Natwest was offered by the G'ment.
And you have to sign an agreement that you're an insider and you can't buy or sell any shares or disclose any information until after the rns lands. Not including the placement shares that is.
I have been approached by the listed broker on another listed company to take part in a placement. You don't know what you're talking about kat.
Nearly 100m shares traded by 12 noon.
Well someone is seriously offloading a load of shares, at 1.07?
Its like someone said here have £1.5 at 1.05p but I'll be taking them straight back out at 1.07p.
Weird
Are you really that dumb?
Yes they can be forwarded sold a few investors or one might have taken the lot
You can't forward sell 120million shares on a day that trades 73million. and, considering the previous days were: 12mill, 3mill and 9mill... that's just basic maths.
don't act like you know what you're talking about. you're just lucky your bought on the low last year... as you've said, you'd never even heard of the company before then.
your advice is just jam dressed up as knoweldge!
Having massively topped up at 0.50 to get my now 17mill to a 0.72 average, I am also an investor so a placing for growth is fine by me (although this one was not released very timely and would have words if I held any sway) but I am not a beer trader (kat) so it is what it is.
Honest appraisal, AIM. as with eveything, attitude depends on one's average. but i think there are a good few here who have read too many posts and believed that things were turning. y'day should have been a lift to the next support level, not a fall back to the last one.
but, if you're prpared to hold and ignore the rest of the opps in the market... ✔️
Just to educate you kat - the reason why forward selling is pretty standard - why would an investors give ex amount of money for say 100m shares at say 1p without having the option to forward sell? If what you think we're true the rns lands the sp tanks to below 1p and the placement investors are screwed..
Maybe you get it now.
Kat I'm still waiting you clueless 🤡
I haven't sold anything, however my average is still well below current price so I'm still happy. In the grand scheme of things this doesn't matter to me, this raise suggests to me at least, that the BoD have seen another opportunity out there to get quickly to accelerate their plans. I am disappointed at the price, but it won't matter in a few months time. Think a few may be hurting a little from buying yesterday, that's all.
Lloyd, you and this bb have been talking about 'ranges' and things being 'afoot' since the placing back in last July when the placed at 1p to buy Paypt.
since then there's been 1 TR1 for buyer and the big TH1 for Raphael selling.
that's more than enough time for the 'afoot' to have generated a TR1 unless all the 500ks are then sold?
at 1.07 it becomes obvious that traders are the winners and all this 'hold for gold' is what keeps the traders in profit.
(incidentally, i don't believe for one moment that the repeat 'i'm buying' lthers aren't trading this too... just doesn't suit to admit it.
