I am going to hold as I think there is a September dividend to be paid and if you read the notes there may well be a March dividend that has to be paid (provided that Henderson keep GRMNin a REIT structure)......these are not mentioned in the takeover document though (normally this would be explicitly stated).......
Offer received at a great premium. Happy days!
Process ongoing with talks with what I would call a preferred bidder (but they do not use these words).
Some cautionary statements around an offer not being certain but this looks good - it all depends upon the offer price!
I am enjoying the uplift arising from this sales process but not sure now whether to continue holding or take profit.......
Getting nearer NAV and will be associated costs, hence took my profits and looking at YU.
Will be interesting to see which or if suitors come forward and any price agreed upon.
Gl & atb all
that's a strong buy from them.......
Very strong buying with only a small change in share price........

Takeover speculation will be interesting to see - GRN in the market now and Asset value significantly greater than current market cap.
Will see if potential Buyers view the assets in the context of strategic purchases within the post Brexit environment.
Interesting times indeed!
2016 – The Great Irish Share Valuation Project (Part IV) Company: Green REIT (GRN:ID) Last TGISVP Post: Here Market Cap: EUR 926 Million Price: EUR 1.341 https://wexboy.wordpress.com/2016/12/22/2016-the-great-irish-share-valuation-project-part-iv/ Price Target: EUR 1.47 Upside/(Downside): 10%
mcap on here/?
I got mine just after iPO @ EUR 1.12. I agree this is a solid long term hold.
I bought wrong some months back but timing is devilishly difficult. This one's just back to cut-even but the divis are worth having in time to come, if you can bear holding the Euro. No-ones posted since November last so I thought I would kick the can a bit!!

2014 – The Great Irish Share Valuation Project (Part VI) I take a look at Green REIT, plus a batch of other Irish stocks: http://wexboy.wordpress.com/2014/03/31/2014-the-great-irish-share-valuation-project-part-vi/ Cheers, Wexboy
Does anyone have an rough summary of how the dividend payout for this share works, ie when is it paid, how much roughly would it be (I have heard that the yield of REITs is around 6-10%). Anyway I'm interested in investing that pays out advent yearly dividend, so any info would be great. Cheers
Time to take a closer look at the recent Green REIT IPO: 'Red or Green REIT?!' http://wexboy.wordpress.com/2013/08/29/red-or-green-reit/
trade...
I admire your patience, it is probably wise as general rule to wait for a while after an IPO. My gut guided me on this one. Call it the contrarian strain. I see huge potential here and I am in for the long haul so I would hope to more than recover any post IPO premium over time.
The idea is great and i see the potential but am not prepared to pay an 11 to 15 % premium only a few days after launch ..also I will be interesting to see what investments they make ....I am hoping the price will drop back after the initial excitement ..Also we may see several other REITS coming soon which provide other opportunities
Yes, time will tell. Like my BKIR shares I fully expect to hold these for a few years. Also, hopefully this share chat board might attract some interest similar to the BKIR share chat board.
Just looking today and its moving up and down from €1.14 - €1.17 range. Might be a good share to watch closely and start trading it as a Day Trader. But I will need more evidence 1st. But I also agree that it might be one of those shares that needs to be put away for a long time. And when Ireland finally gets going again, see how the share stands then.
