I should have added more. Think it will do well over the next few weeks as its got the low ball placing done, and is expecting some positive news on 10 July.
@Horult
The last spike up to $80 in 2021 saw GME tank back down to $10 in a couple of days.
Real rollarcoaster of a share and they did a massive fundraise last time.
Same over at AMC, they were going bust until the short squeeze started. Once it got on a roll they also did a massive fundraising exercise that saved the business.
Without those manipulated pumps to get placings away neither company would exist in their present format.
Crazy stuff, I've read it's manipulated via a 'gamma short squeeze' that uses options buying activities to somehow 'trick' the algorithmic trading bots into believing the SP is about to explode and drives the price up rapidly.
I'd need to do a bit more reading on the subject but that's how I understand it was worked.
Gamestop have released their yearly results - which is why SP crashed straight after. Also stated they intend to sell 75 million shares
results were not due till 11th - they have sneakily rushed them out early!
either they wish to stop the spike going into todays roaring kitty stream
....or perhaps they intend to sell those shares into the rise today to create as much cash as possible ;-)
IG states your buying the underlying asset outright out of hours
He1, a burst of sellers as I type, must be spooked by the slow trading after yesterdays take down
Somebody bought a 14% interest by the look of things?
Mohamad Norza Bin Zakaria
I believe IG have extended hours trading, that might say how it works, real shares or contract with them..
Phew, nicely timed ..
Wow seems like that was a good call selling when I did
crashed back down to $40 pre market open
I cant find a way to show the extended trades on the chart and SP there remains static out of hours
but can still see the SP changing in the in the right box - once you have turned on the extended trading option
Has this chap called the bottom
07-Jun-24 10:42:04 1.145 3,000,000 Buy* 1.05 1.15 34.35k O
I guess those extended hours trades are some sort of instrument ?
He1, showing two candles of strong buying 3m followed by 1m...
Hopefully that was the bottom, but if yesterdays big seller starts again ?
Trading 212 has extended hours on a lot of US stocks - so I can trade 24 hours
@Horult, its outside market hours in the US, so what are you trading ?
Just had a Pi sell off, followed buy 2 x1m buys
Well done Horult a win is a win and it is all training for the big one so just let me know when you find in!
I just sold all my gamestop at $63. Yes it was a small amount for fun - but when I'm looking at a 70% gain in under 24 hours I'd be silly not to take it really, no matter how small the trade
defo wish I'd dropped a couple £k into it now though😂😂
The circus is well and truely back in town over there this morning
Just been chuckling reading all the nonsense that gets posted on that BB.
All the usual suspects going at it (again)
:-))
I did mention the CVSG veterinary group a few weeks back at has rise steadily up 21% since then....I should take my own advice sometimes lol!
Okay first +1m seller, 1.5m , followed by a 893k....
I think the thing to do is to have a list of your picks in a live priced portfolio, and when one makes you think thats a really good price, followed by I can't believe its here, then buy...
He1 its about £50 spread on 100,000 shares, trading has slowed down, still no sign of this big 1.8m, but there are regular small sellers but predominantly buyers......
GDR trading at placing price, 1.5/1.55,
Have not noticed any 1.8m sellers so far this morning, just 1x 1m ?
But trading has slowed last 10 min
He will keep pumping then wont he, im might dabble myself later as all it takes is for someone at the weekend to say something and it could fly.
Lot of big companies do it. Load up on the quiet - then announce a broker note or news report saying how good of an investment it is ( or how bad if shorting )
it is perfectly fine for the hedge funds to do it every single day
but they all get upset if a little nobody does it and a PI actually manages to make a profit
Very much on my radar as well, its like MATD how low do you let it get but then risk missing the key RNS.
