Paul, I absolutely agree with you that it's not totally stalled Garfield, but imagine if the USG got their finger out and handed over a few million for Pilot Mountain exploration, we could then apply all the rest on Garfield.
Personally, I've no interest in a strategic partner for Pilot Mountain, I just want to dramatically improve the resource, and sell it off to the highest bidder. :-)
Thanks for the response folks.
All will become clearer once the mag survey results from Garfield are announced which really did sound like it should be any day now. If there's any interesting bullseyes like he's looking for then I think we'll hear of progress quite rapidly from the way Oliver has been speaking over the past few weeks. He wants to discover another porphyry system there which he sounds sure is there somewhere. Fingers crossed for that one!!!!
Donkey - I'm hoping that OF will apply the warrant exercise monies to Garfield. And he has said they are proceeding with Garfield so I don't now think it's holding it up that much.
If we can double PM that adds so much more value to the company and they could perhaps look for a strategic partner on improved terms.
BUT it IS holding up proving up Garfield, since the grant funds could be used to Pilot Mountain and then the raised funds directed to Garfield, which is a massively interesting copper play, especially since it's in a mining friendly jurisdiction in the USA.
Sorry LW, Grants are in application, they really cannot say anymore than that - hired an expert (who also holds about 5.6% in the company, she recently upped her stake through the warrant exercise process). Grants will land when they land, The thing is OF has the funds to proceed with PM without having to wait for them to land, so it's not holding up progress here.
and...we're not even talking about the other prospects on the licenses...
LW, drill permits for Pilot Mountain, that could double the resource according to OF, are due anytime ... OF has lined up the driller and knows exactly where he wants to drill.
Understood PFG - have GMET updated on where they are at with the grant process and/or timescale for any decision?
Wondering why POW haven't exercised their warrants yet?
Don't they have the funds?
A further 578000 warrants exercised this morning raising a further £62000 for GMET.
Read throught my posts LW, I've been making that point for yonks.
But we are talking Nevada, US soil here, might make a small difference.
Like BRES GMET has been able to private raise at a premium. I'm in both these stocks, just following the smart money.
Bres have already got one of these grants last year and tbh, it didn't give its share price any massive or sustained lift. Took a long time to obtain as well.
Paul
I had been listening to that Kitco interview and was very pleasantly surprised that the main stock he specifically highlighted was GMET. The guy is a regular contributor on Kitco and elsewhere and is clearly enthusiastically promoting it to his clients and investors generally. It is very beneficial to have GMET promoted to US Investors as they should be keen to invest in Nevada. The arrival of the US Government grant should be a game changer and the guy in the interview seemed of the opinion it will come because the Tungsten is such a strategic asset. OF has mentioned many uses for Tungsten but this guy mentioned one I hadn’t heard mentioned which was bullets. The current state of the world suggests bullets are a much sort after product.
As highlighted on X, about 15mins in, this US guy just loves and is buying GMET

Great to see these warrants getting exercised, though I'm sure OF has already assigned the funds to something useful.
Definitely my favourite share for 2024 and beyond...
Morning all, thinking of popping a few K into this share as the fundamentals look interesting, but was hoping someone would enlighten me on timescales for next likely news? Many thanks!
I doubt they will give more than USD$5-10m for Pilot Mountain, there's just no need - they're not funding development of a mine just further drilling to ascertain the extent of the deposit. I would expect that any further financial commitment from the USG will be agreements for supply with whoever buys Pilot Mountain from GMET to take through to production. If this is done without much additional dilution, I imagine we could ultimately end up with 150-200p per share from the sale of Pilot Mountain, although that has to be at least 2 years away.
BRES received $5m in $1m tranches - still receiving it made no difference to share price.
$1.8bn to Perpetua is by way of repayable financing!
It's all castles in the air - for me, get the rest of the warrant money in - can't be long now, get your permits finalised, can't be long now either but they are taking longer these days and get drilling to prove up the tenements - OF is getting on with it. That activity with release value.
I've no interest in Lithium, I think OF is also thinking about not looking further at it, at least for the time being. The world has more than enough discovered Lithium, does not excite me and cannot understand why people go on and on about it.
Oliver tweets another company is to recive up to $1.8b to develop it project?
Is this what we can excpect?
Alot of speculation we may get $10m as Blencowe got.
But given how long this has been going on could any grant be a lot more
Gold and Silver still marching on! Lithium Carbonate also looking like it's found support above 105000 CNY /T and bottomed out now. Great for GMET's assets
A holdings RNS was issued after the close relating to a minor decrease in POW’s holding in terms of percentage. POW have not sold any shares and the change is due to the recent exercise of warrants leading to new shares being issued thus increasing the total number of shares in issue. POW have a significant number of warrants they could exercise which would increase their percentage holding again. I suspect that if the US Government grant doesn’t come fairly soon Ollie will be asking Shaun to exercise the warrants to further boost his cash. Ollie has had cash recently from a strategic investor and the exercise of warrants so he is well funded in the short term to get drilling underway . He will be wanting the Grant funds so he can ramp up the drilling when his permits arrive. Exciting times with regular news to look forward to.
Thanks Paul, nice find, I'll credit ou when I share ir
