Not by much though. There was a clear peak where someone's possibly pulled a chunk and may buy back when they know it's good to go again. I wonder if anyone else will put forward a heavy stake to force MA's hand? A shrewd business would win either way.
nahhhhhh, why would they have their handful, its a huge business and they clearly had the time to buy more gmd shares
Don't you think SD has its hands full with Deb right now? And the GOAL clusterf*** ?
interesting, findel rejected a sports direct takeover offer today!
some trading
precisely. It's a given in my view.
weren't going to takeover. they wouldn't have bothered adding.
his lost ground to JD cuz of foot. this gets him more floor space.
balance is cyclical. What was reported at January is the peak. The average balance is much lower but still higher than the current SP
now showing up delayed.
No debt. Assets at £250m ..
Using round numbers 95m/173m gives just under 55p
YES
Am I right in saying cash currently is 58p?
The share price is 29p
Big gap in value
Even if the sp reflected the cash only and valued the business at zero many here would be happy with a bag.
Too good an opportunity here. Clearly a takeover opportunity. Cash well above market cap.
buyers buying !?
Look at the similar trades repeated
Mrcalm in yet?
Cash value nearly double mcap...
similar price action.
someones going to have to pay a substantial premium here with the cashpile. they may even try taking over CEX
Mike Ashley #sportsdirect went 29%+ yesterday having first bought 20%+ in July 2017 at c.28p Market cap £40mln and cash £90mln
this a B.O.G.O.F.
most likely an offer coming imo, i cant see why else they would take their stake to that level unless they want maximum exposure to what is going on with belong which based on what i am reading is their main interest !?
