Tick tock 😉
Oh dear. Usual suspects. 3CB, Levi, and then BS will no doubt turn up - and the usual swipe at my user id. Lol.
You are confusing me with someone who might think your usual unresearched investment thesis is worth listening to.
Yep already with you 3Cardbrag. Using all the usual childish soundbites like deramper and you can't be an investor, the usual playbook and out after every post to defend his position.
The good thing is we won't have long to wait to see who is right on Luansobe production.
Agree with you 100% Agent, no excuse for no news on this one
An RNS has to be published shortly as the deadline has passed. Think the worst or think the best and act accordingly.
You're wasting your time levi. Anal is an arch ramper and will do his utmost to stigmatise anyone with an even remotely contrary position. I'm, like you, invested and really want to see positive and profitable progress. But being in several Birdie companies as I am, scepticism comes with the territory due to past and ongoing reality
I still don’t understand why there is no RNS update regarding the completion of the sale of Glenover.
We have either completed the sale, which makes a material difference to our portfolio and the market should be informed, or the sale has been delayed/postponed/cancelled, which also effects our portfolio and again the market needs informed of this.
Which is it? Silence shouldn’t be an option
We can all see your de-ramping Levi. :-)
It's such a poor argument to suggest someone is not invested just because they have a difference of opinion but if that is what you want to believe feel free.
I am sure you will have the last word as you always do but tapping out for now.
Hopefully Colin will afford us a rns before the end of the day.
Of course you are Levi. :-)
No I am not saying that at all Analytical, that is just stupid commentary. It would be like saying so you are all in on this and bet your house on it.
We will see in a few months where we are anyway but for now I am asking where is the money.
According to you the world is falling apart, and GLR have made no progress. And you claim you are invested :-)
On the contrary Analytical. I would only be too pleased for it to happen.
However It is prudent to temper expectations and challenge your ramptastic views.
2 trades today and 2 yesterday, yes this has all the hallmarks of anything happening soon.
A rns on that money please Colin.
I suppose you will soon disappear when this re-rates upwards ;-)
Obviously no one is bothered. Too busy kidding themselves about Luansobe production this year 🤪
'slightly in the red' sure Levi.
Yes 18mths would be my guess Analytical but keep dreaming of production from September.
You are kidding yourselves.
Levi - you have also stated previously it will not happen within 18 months. CB will not announce what happens next in the open pit until he has the official letter in his hands - even through we have the minutes, and the cadastre update, and when it is I would expect it to be subject to an immediate RNS. I think the Roast guys are in Zambia at the moment, maybe they are also on a rambling trip in addition to the other guys on site at Luansobe the other week.
It's 6 months away and with a good partner that's long enough for a relatively simple open pit now we have the license so we are told - only time will tell. Not to say that you might not be right which would be a v big disappointment IMO
Good post cyber apart from the last paragraph.
If Sept 24 was going to be hit things and materials need to be moving to site now.
It won't be this year imo.
This is what I just posted in AFP:
"There is very likely to be a placing in 2024 IMO - as long as there is a partner organised with relevant funding for the open pit at Ongombo and a firm start date then that's not the end of the world, if we will be producing Cu soon after.
I have heard that jan/ feb 25 for production. It would be soooo good for once if target dates where met with this group of companies rather than constantly over promising, that's what kills the interest"
The last para does apply to GLR in the past and its about time it didn't - can easily be solved by keeping shareholders properly updated and only setting a target date when properly confident it can be hit.
I actually so think the clearly stated Luansobe target of sept/oct 24 can and should be hit. Perhaps Colin is just surrounded by yes men and women and maybe that should change too - I would be saying focus on one or 2 key deliverables in the group companies and their projects (too many of these), focus resources on the priorities and get them DONE!
When you are ready Colin 🤷♂️
PL39/PL40 - Definitely. Don't rule out SFR wanting PL253 - it was flown by SFR for free, SFR are working with Cobre either side of PL253, and BHP are sniffing around Cobre assets either side of PL253 by award of that grant etc.
Absolutely agree with this Chrisp. SFR have known the detail about our KCB licences for a long time now and at no point as it been stated SFR are not interested. I suspect the licence they had off us will not only be sending us a huge payment, but they will also be snapping up PL39 and 40 off us as well.
From the last Sunday roast, it sounds as if PL253 is a bit too far away from SFR to be interested, but we know a firm who would be very interested in this licence and right next to proven huge finds!
I read the AFP results and I thought that when they explained that the deposit in their licenses were too small for SFR demonstrates that the licenses that SFR bought of GLR are not too small and we could be getting some very good news from SFR, even this year.
