No need for Erdogan to formalise a visit to set set up for his cut - Baghdad should just send Ankara a monthly the bill with compound interest running from the day their award was decided by ICC Paris …. or open the valves forthwith..
If no revenue coming it will fall further.
Suppose to be temporary shutdown but has become major issue.
Does anyone actually know when Erdogan is going to Iraq ? ..is there an actual day announced when he’s going..if he’s actually going.
I did try asking over on Advfn but i was drowned out by the multi id nutjob posting nonsense.

Genl are sinking
What I find interesting is the shareholders in Genel ,there is Rothschild with quite a significant stake in the company at around 7.6% as well as Turkish oligarch Hassan Gozal at 16.6% ,while in GKP there is hardly even any insider heavily invested or at least officially they hardly own any shares of the company. For my little brain is a sign that they believe in the positive resolution and future of Genel, which should be in turn be a good sign for GKP as it is in much better position financially with no debt whatsoever.I might be wrong.
According to this article ,it is Iraq/KRG who don't want to make the oil flow.I am only getting more and more confused.
"Upcoming visit:
Iraq is eagerly awaiting the upcoming visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to engage in discussions over a range of shared topics between the two neighboring countries. At the top of the agenda stands the critical issue of water.
Observers speculate the possibility of a potential exchange, wherein Kurdistan resumes oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan in return for Ankara's cooperation in releasing water from Turkish dams. The latter, which have curtailed Iraq's water share, have recently sparked public and political backlash."

Should have consolidated middle East, Ukraine farce, Nuland, Blinken, Biden, Bojo, the whole lot of them, completely incompetent
The posters here saying I was dramatic, all I said has come to pass. Bloody Western leadership are morons. Globalist fools.
To think I could have sold on April the fourth.
Surely there are intelligent peoples with access to international news somewhere in Turdistan ?
'The general population must have worked out that their obscenely wealthy rullers may not be willing to account for where their spectacular wealth comes from - when they are living hand-to-mouth in abject poverty.
I think we all know how these things pan out.'
The ruling families have enough henchmen to keep the general population in check bar the odd fracas, which they allow so the masses can let off some steam.
Simple solution to short-circuit the demand «for more money to be sent»:
Just ask the Turd delegation «to which private swizz account should we send it ?»
12.6% was agreed, and presumably - 12.6% of the published budget was sent.

One day it might...these incompetent tools are fast running out of time. Read somewhere Kurdistan's doctors and others have not been paid for 2 months. This can not go on for much longer. Deal has to be reached.
Here we go again another wasted meeting that will result in nothing!!
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - A delegation from the Kurdistan Region’s ruling Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) will visit Baghdad on Sunday to express its concerns to Iraqi allies regarding Baghdad’s alleged failure to comply with its oil and budget agreements with Erbil, said a KDP official on Saturday.
Viyan Sabri, head of KDP’s bloc in the Iraqi parliament, told Rudaw’s Sangar Abdulrahman on Saturday that a top delegation from the party will visit Baghdad on Sunday to meet with the State Administration Coalition, which has formed the current Iraqi cabinet.
She said that they are “concerned” that the coalition has not implemented points they agreed on before the formation of the government regarding the issues of budget as well as oil and gas.
Iraq passed its highly contentious budget in June and the Kurdistan Region’s share is 12.6 percent. In recent days, Baghdad sent the monthly share of the Region but Erbil claims that Baghdad violated the budget law and they were expecting more money to be sent.
Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani on Wednesday reviewed the latest drafts of the oil and gas bill with officials and key political bloc leaders from both Baghdad and Erbil, stressing the need to legislate the “crucial” bill in order to address some of the country’s pressing issues.
The purpose of the meeting was refining the bill’s final draft before its approval by the Council of Ministers and subsequent submission to the Iraqi parliament, according to a statement from Sudani’s office.
Sabri said Iraq wants to have full control on the Region’s oil and gas through the bill.
The Region used to export over 400,000 barrels of crude oil to the international markets before the process was suspended in late March following a ruling by a Paris-based arbitration court.
An alternative pipeline heading South (to the major markets) could have been layed by now…… Since the closure in March.
The insurmountable problem there would be that ICG/SOMO would have auditable control over the fluids passing through it (so the usual suspects would have lost their birthright to skim off it).
What a cluster of fluxes we are buried in.
erbil (kurdistan 24) – turkish minister of foreign affairs hakan fidan is set to visit iraq in mid-august and meet with the country’s top leaders, according to the iraqi foreign ministry.
the upcoming visit, which will take place in the second half of august, was discussed on thursday in a meeting between iraqi minister of foreign affairs fuad hussein and turkish ambassador to iraq ali riza guney in baghdad, per a statement from the iraqi ministry.
the press release did not elaborate further details on the visit’s agenda. fidan is expected to meet with the country’s top leaders.
in a meeting with iraqi prime minister mohammed shia’ al-sudani in late july, ambassador guney also discussed turkish president recep tayyip erdogan’s visit to iraq.
baghdad and ankara share a number of issues, particularly in areas of water quota, border security, and energy.
iraqi officials have condemned turkish attacks on the kurdistan region’s border areas, where ankara had launched several ground operations against its arch-foe kurdistan workers’ party (pkk) since the mid-1980s.
ankara, in response, has demanded baghdad take action against the presence of kurdish militants.
the dwindling water levels of iraq's main river system, the tigris and euphrates, which originate in turkey, have resulted in significant environmental degradation, forcing farmers to abandon their areas, particularly during the scorching summer heat.
upstream damming on the rivers in turkey has been blamed by the iraqi authorities for the declining water level that had threatened a large rural population in the country.
iraq in march claimed a legal victory against turkey in a paris arbitration court for allowing kurdistan region to independently export its oil via iraq-turkey pipeline.
despite numerous rounds of discussions that have taken place between the two sides to resume the export, the stoppage is still ongoing.
here we go again more hope to hang on to which will.come to nothing..
these media outlets can fed us **** indefinitely until xmas and beyond with zero progression..
i'll give to them they are bloody good at mugging private investors into believing that the pipeline will open next week or the next ..
its wearing thin now to be honest
Bel, extremely optimistic view of current reality. Iraq would love to keep Kurd oil in thr ground. That was Saddam plan
Maybe guys, however I believe you are incorrect in this. This is due to the fact that Iraq has been failing to meet its agreed OPEC quota for quite a long time, so has in essence, quite a bit in the bag, and allowances for when it can. Other countries have been producing more. The planned reduction is a voluntary one and often timed later in Autumn when plant maint and turnarounds are planned in regardless. By announcing in advance it pushes crude prices up ahead of any reductions, so its a win/ win for those that do it, because they are still exporting and producing their quotas right now.
the nail on the head ax the last thing they want is that 400kbopd hitting the market!!
even a blind delusional ****** can see that ..
More worrying is the cuts are desired by many and keeping 400,000 barrels off the market is desired by all OPEC. Ie restarting suits no one but us.
Saudi telling everyone that they intend to continue cutting the amount of crude being produced by 1m bops from Sept is certainly forcing the general crude price higher. Russia has already jumped on the bandwagon by saying it’s going to join them in also cutting production by 300bopd. This is going to make all energy more expensive come autumn and winter and will hurt all of us. Even gas prices tend to reflect high crude prices, so don’t be surprised to see energy prices rising again as soon as the nights get cold. Indeed crude prices might well go a lot higher as Saudi is really struggling to balance the books with ambitious spending projects and high debts. This will actually increase the chances of a kurdy export deal as the larger pot size will still fill all the pockets of the greedy and who knows…. Might even be a few scraps left for the oil companies that are producing it.
Hopefully the ICG will revise our contracts and remove the abusive facility to default/short change/ ignore their obligations to all parties.
C***eye,
in the recent past, the Baghdad folks have effectively said "what you want to pay the contractors is your business, but we will only pay you what the budget says" - so, 12.7% or whatever.
Implication being that KRGs pay out of their Baghdad-allocated sums.
Also, at the moment the KRG/MNR seems only to be delivering ca 52Mbopd instead of the required / requested / demanded 400Mbopd - so only a pittance is being paid.
We have both seen this time and time again.
Same, same.
