Not much love for the #GILD at the moment but suspect it will come
Really shocked the EWC has not got wider attention yet, just a couple of us and the tumbleweeds (unless we are the tumbleweeds?)
I've seen stocks with much less going for them do 200% on news and anticipation like what GILD is offering, LVCG anyone recall when that did nearly 500% on a KPOP concert? MOS did quite a bit as well at one stage, not to put GILD in the same boat but the potential here is enormous and yet the market still ignores it.
Cash perhaps? We haven't raised much but I am sure we need to do at least one more strategic raise of some sort
What happened to the 00Nation 'commercial agreement'
MIddle east investment of £250K seems to be paying off either way
RNS due? currently up 55%
There's an Rns out https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/GILD/guild-joins-the-esports-world-cup-club-program/16456080
I held this for years but I'm currently out , but still follow it, this will be massive imo in time, but for me company cash flow is my issue to not reinvest yet 😬
Thanks, standard LSE, delay on RNS again. glad i dont pay the premium.
Awaiting a TR - 1
Will becks be buying stock ?
A show of confidence in the team to help push this back to its year high,
Added a small price for becks birthday this morning.
Have a good one pal,
Couple nice buys today
Market starting to take notice, if we can land a sponsor pre-WC that would blow the doors off
Sneaking up nicely
Will today be the day for fireworks, ??
100% from the year low,
Bring on the games 🏆
$20m divided between the top 16 clubs.
So a #1 placement could see a return of more than the current market cap. In theory this share is then currently free on forward moving projections ?
No, Guild only competes in the following EWC titles:
Street Fighter ($1.1m total purse)
EAFC ($1.1m total purse)
Counterstrike ($1m total purse)
Fortnite ($1m total purse)
SIM Racing ($500k total purse)
Plus misc club/player bounties
That’s ~$5M total, but bear in mind 1st Place is around 40% of the total purse, then Guild needs to pay out 80-90% of those winnings to the players. So best case, Guild would only be entitled to ~$200k-$400k.

I personally have huge concerns with the irrelevancy of the titles they currently compete in, and how poor their team rankings are.
Also, Guild’s entries into SIM Racing, Street Fighter, etc are clearly subsidised by the Saudi EWC Club Program, which is very short-sighted. Building their business around one event is far from strategic (or lucrative). Guild alluded to this partnership mysteriously in the past, but it’s now official.

We’re reading different threads - Copy & pasted. I cannot see where you pulled $5m from:
The Club Championship, an innovative cross-game competitive format unique to the EWC, will award a total of $20 million to the top 16 clubs based on their overall performance. The Club Championship is a new format focusing on multi-game competitions, with each Club selecting the games they want to compete in. At the event's conclusion, the Club with the best performance across various game championships will be crowned the world's first Esports World Cup Club Champion.
The remaining prize pool will be divided into three additional distribution categories: Game Championships, MVP Awards, and Qualifiers. Each of the 20 Game Championships will have their own prize pool with a combined total exceeding $33 million. In addition, a $50,000 MVP Award will be awarded to a standout participant in each competition. More than $7 million will be awarded before the Game Championships start, as teams and athletes compete to qualify for available tournament spots across eligible qualifier events run by partnered Publishers and event organizers.

$2m purse for Apex Legends (btw Guild no longer competes in this title)
$600K for first place
80-90% of the $600k goes to the players
Which nets $60-$120K for Guild
The $5m referenced earlier represents the aggregate purse across the titles Guild competes in at EWC.
The $20m Club Championship purse is in addition to this, but only applies toward the Top 16 teams. So technically Guild has a chance to earn additional $$$, but given 1) how few titles they compete in vs their competitors and 2) how uncompetitive their teams/players are, it’s a long shot that Guild makes the Top 16 (let alone Top 5).
Excellent result for Guild’s semi final Fortnite players.
Guild’s Chico, Charyy, Voltiax and Blacha all win a spot, securing their places with their duo’s to the Fortnite Grand Final.
Yes snow1y great to see Chico, Charyy, Voltiax and Blacha all through to the Finals
