When you keep blaming MMs , find out why.
https://moneyterms.co.uk/normal-market-size/
Apparently the EMS for Ggp was increased recently to 300k from 200k.
Whether this has anything to do with the current rise I wouldn’t know but there has been numerous trades of around 300k since early April it could have something to do with ISA trades £20k.
There have also been 2 rebalances this week lifting the volume.
Archways used to be a trader and told me he laughed at folks blaming MMs games , they are here to make a market.
Mf11 could explain this better than me.
Back and forth bickering, yet people choosing to ignore this perfect message from Bamps. I said last week it felt like a rebalance - Bamps has confirmed this. As Archways used to say, he laughed at people blaming MM's when its literally their job to MAKE A MARKET! The reason the SP hasn't continued to rise? No one way willing to pay more than what the highest price was. It's simple supply and demand.
Thanks again, Bamps. Logical as always.
The MM’s must be sat on a stock at present as PI’s sold off at the bottom of the lassonde curve.
Their risk manager’s will allow them some wriggle room, but the amount won’t be material, just like the Actius Ray position. I’m ok with the conspiracy theories, but the MM’s are trying to make a market so they can earn beer money by increasing the volume.
When the RNS drops either way 100%, new partner or just retain 30% it will bring some certainty. Followed quickly by recommencement of mining, published FS and DtM.
All in the next few months.
Then Bamps 20m oz is proved up by drilling from bottom of the decline.
Keep the faith…. Yes England will win the Euros
Bamps
They’ll have the 6 months at the bottom of the decline while they set up for first ore.
When they start testing how deep the ore body goes is there a limit to how far the drills can test to?
Hi HT
I don’t know about the 6 months of work before production it’s going to be a progressive thing not a sudden start.
Someone mentioned it was the Decline false start that tributes to the sp rise, that’s really nonsense in my opinion. You should never buy on rumours from a chat Board. I saw the joke a poster had done straight away.
Shaun mentioned a shortcut, now I don’t know whether that was to get through the aquifer or a short cut to the ore. I’ve been pondering this and came up with a shorter route .
If when the Decline starts it turns right into another spiral it will get through the aquifer and into the basement in a shorter route.
While in the basement the Decline advancement should be at a lot higher rate than in the cover so time to ore is reduced.
Turning it to the right and reaching First Ore from the West at a level 470m from surface is a lot shorter than the original level of 500m.
This gives a savings of over 300m of Decline length. Probably a month shorter than previously.
The Production start would need Health and Safety sign off, so all of the ventilation system needs to be complete. This will be a continual process while the Decline progresses.
Getting to a 20moz target will not be overnight it’s going to be gradual increase, the underground drilling I believe has a maximum length of around 300m, so the Northern end could be infill drilled at the start.
Thank you for the rely and that’s a shame.l if they can only go another 300m with diamond core tests.
I was hoping they could test drill below the 1,500m plus 400m we’re tested to at present. Would like to know it how far the open at depth goes to.
This giant is slumbering , nothing will happen aside from a few snores and grunts,
just set your alarm clocks for December 2025 and make ready to witness a new dawn
Great post Dawn!
Wow! I only gave up after the first sentence.
Short attention span VS ?
nevertheless the ATH will not be surpassed until then, tick tock
Careful Dawn you will be shot down by the usual suspects that thisnisnthe best since sliced bread, we are on our way up, it's following the usual pattern, blah blah. These are the people that should be reported, continually ramping something that may or may not be a great share. Like a fully boys club that shouts down any other opinion other than there's. See you in a month.
Some brokers are suggesting investors should reduce risk due to turbulence ahead with the wars in Ukraine, Palestine, and the recent death of top Iranians.
But Metal shares would be the ones to do better if things get worse.
Saber, calm down chap,I actually did not say "thisnisnthe best since sliced bread",although it seems easy for you to say that! My comments were that the share deserved to go up on the buying today, I support my share of course, do not continually ramp and post little.these days because the forum "ain't like it used to be" and the trolls who wish to continually mislead are still about.Good day to you, have some communal knitting with the lads to undertake.
Viking
There'll always be some kind of war in the world - but seems to be more of it these days and does make one wonder if it is politically motivated - especially Ukraine 🇺🇦
Metals are highly valued at the moment and the proof is the rejection of Anglo American 3er bid from BHP.
Today ... " Anglo American said on Wednesday that it has rejected a third and final takeover proposal from Australia's BHP which values the miner at £38.6bn."
Not sure why we had the sudden rise and now the backtrack, on no news. There will be news and we will rise from there. No one can say where we will be by a certain date but my opinion FWIW, is a lot of news will come in short succession. I’m not brave enough to trade my shares but well done those that are, I don’t want to miss out on the main event, which, as Bamps says, will be accumulative, but I reckon a few rockets will start the celebrations.
Hold on tight and GLA.
Could of been an opportunity for more shorts to open.
Like I said a few days back when it started - an order was being filled and its now done; same happened with L&G
They (like L&G) that have bought are here for the long term.
Sureasblazes - I always trade mine out at the moment, when we get an unexplained climb.
It's based on me being a bit underwater over the longer term, and seeking to get a bit of joy from GGP in the short term.
I don't feel any real risk in doing this at the moment because none of the last 3 rises have been news related. If it keeps moving up for more than 10 days without any significant retrace, I might be less likely to do it.
I have a fill order now at 6.50 and we shall see how it goes. Despite these recent trades, I remain a long-term investor.

* You said on the proactive interview that you can take shortcuts from what was originally planned, does this mean a new revision of the plan needs to be submitted for the… to the DMP for approval, when would you expect the plans to be approved?
- when I referred to a shortcut I was probably trying to say that briefly in the confines of what is a shorter Proactive interview session
- so really what it is the contact between the Permian layer and the basement rock is not absolutely you know flat or horizontal
- it actually has a slope in one direction and so there are places where the basement rock and the ore body are actually closer to surface than other areas and basically with the increased density of drilling that we've done around the around the ore body and as part of that were the Bore holes we've been able to refine the path of the decline to both take what we think is the safest route through the LCA
- but also to have a path that leads us in a shorter vertical distance to actually getting to the basement rock
It is good to see more volume and therefore liquidity of late. May be helpful in attracting more institutional investors.
