If this is a scam then these guys are experts as they have fooled many.
why do you say this?, can buy on HL, can't sell a bean though! and its ben like this for some time.
Undoubtedly a con, I'm just ashamed I got sucked in.
The blame lies at the door of the AIM just as much as the Directors for me.
In my opinion, without a doubt it was a con from the start just like the previous company (nmg) the whole process here as been a mirror image of nmg, which was why I have been doing my best to warn people they were going to lose their investment. I'm sure they will form a new company from the ashes Geo and do it all over again. Nobody knows how much as been made by people involved but it will be a sustainable amount. No bad luck or misjudgment a con trick pure and simple. It works because we are all want something for nothing.
I personally do not think that this was an attempt at a scam...surely nobody would go to all this trouble to pull off a scam? However, I do think that some persons, at some point, are going to have to answer some particularly awkward questions at a fast approaching time in the very near future. Regarding that looming future: not much future for any director, regarding trust anyways, in regard to any future reemployment. One other thought: Block Energy (oil and gas) are operating out of Georgia, they too need the necessary permits...but they are not, it would seem, experiencing the same problems. Why? Because this venture is hand in hand with the Georgian government. It is my contention, and I have stated this previously, that Georgian Mining Corp, in their hasty arrogance, tried to ride roughshod over the local populace and administration...in other words: did not adopt due courtesy and protocol. It is quite obvious that, somehow, somewhere, someone in a position of authority has been completely p*ssed off with the brash approach adopted by this company; and, judging by the way they have liaised with their investors... I am not surprised in the slightest.
I have not looked at this share for a while, glad I only had £500 quid invested . I cant believe how low the share price is now.
The only things they would try is a consolidation where they give you say 1 share for every 10 that you now hold, SO price now of 1 p would become 10 p. Or perhaps they could issue an rns with really good news ( true or false ) then do a quick modest placing and pay themselves substantial expenses before it all goes breasts up. Personally I wouldn't trust anything coming from Geo or Eric. My own opinion that I have stated many times is that it's a company set up by professional con men to fleece investors. They are very good at what they do so it's not surprising people are drawn in , they tell a very convincing story. Like I keep saying there never was going to be any gold, copper, silver, joint venture or a mine. Just my opinion of course.
Thanks for the reply, MontyUK...much appreciated. I have only been dappling in the stock markets for a couple of years...but don't recall seeing a s.p before that represents just a fraction of a pence; well, that's the way this particular share price seems to be heading. The point is: if the s.p ends up being a mere fraction of a penny how on earth can they launch a further fundraising? I would say the end is only days away... unless of course a bl**dy miracle happens.
I don't believe it's not related to share price. It's if it's an ongoing concern, then it can trade and dilute if anyone wants to buy.
Can anybody inform me just how low the s.p goes before the company is actually regarded completely non-viable? Or have we indeed now passed that point. I once read a comment from an investor, regarding a different stock, that he had been told years back that once the s.p drops to below 2p a share it was basically regarded as being doomed. Personally I am just waiting for the Georgian Mining Corp website to disappear... cannot be far off I should think.
delay is bad news
Could someone please take Ericeric’s tie and shoelaces off him.
Also in the RNS Tsitel sopeli is a world class gold project with more bonanza grade deposits I like many others am also down 90% but I know I will get it back just can’t make up my mind whether to head for Austria or Georgia with my shovel and wheel barrow !!! Decisions decisions
Stop worrying everyone we have the Austrian “gold province” with “bonanza grade gold” practically throwing itself out of the ground to fall back on surely there are companies queuing up to buy our asset must be worth hundreds of millions according to the surveys GEO are just keeping it in the back pocket ready for when the time and price is right ?? it’s all good
100k down the swanny.. ??, from such a promising outfit to an absolute shower of shite! Held and held in the deluded hope that they may actually come good.. more fool me and many other pi's I fear..
I'm 94% down and Greg is still shamelessly drawing a salary ?
you're quiet today, what do you think of the news?
Correct Warrior :-(
I’m struggling here and am down a significant figure that’s for sure.
I roasted the BoD via email on Wednesday and made my feelings clear as did the BoD when they replied. I get where they were coming from as they have had ZERO control over this govt issue.
They are as frustrated as we are however it doesn’t change things. When the permit gets approved sure we’ll be laughing (those buying down here will anyway).
Back to the sun
ML
....yet another AIM disaster that's been waiting to happen since the various incarnations and history of failiures by this BOD. Even if they do get the permit they'll never make a profit
Punt money that I was going to invest. Going to stick that in another share now.
Manlord not going to be happy when he is back. I don't think he even could spout anything positive
me too. even topped up at 20p!!!!!
I'm 93.2% down on GEO
Many, many, many lessons learnt on this share.
I also doubt how they are practically capable of finding other projects with limited funds and staff?
it seems they will have to sit it out and wait re the permit and with a strong chance they will need to raise more cash just to keep the basics taking over?
dread to think at what price future placing would come in at?
I've written my small investment off here but hope it comes good for those with a significant holding.
Unfortunately £1.6m mcap is way over the top now. Which is saying something.
Can see 0.5p over the coming weeks
IG
not good news at all I'm afraid, redundancies surely one step away from shutting shop?
very disappointing, and yes we know the Georgian government is to blame and the BOD are doing what they can ,but again if they are not getting paid, I wonder how much effort is going into saving this company?
ericeric are yous till bullish here?
