Well they have been excellent
Beckman Coulter one example of distributors at distributor at gdr one of reasons why bought this share.
Don’t get me wrong lol, I am not targeting £2 or even saying it will go there, I’m just responding to Jay’s original question asking if anybody thinks it could reach £2. We all know what good sentiment can do to a stock, and Genedrive have a great chance in making a success of POC and AIHL, so let’s see what happens. My short term target is in the region of 40-50.
II have put another 6m cash into the company, if this is not optimistic then what is it ?
If you are not optimistic, what is the point investing or following GDR . For sure you can find better things to do if not invested in here.
optimistic? Delusional more like...
Very optimistic Jimi. Can you please share some of the stuff you have been smoking this weekend? :))
I’m not saying it’ll be worth £2 in the next 12 months but there’s every chance it could spike to £2 in that time. It touched £3 last May for instance, which was way over valued… but that’s the nature of AIM stocks once sentiment improves.
I think most people had given up on the high throughput test months ago.
Even if all the open offer shares are taken up, including the £10m funds the share price should be about 35p. That will give us a similar mcap as we had before the placing (approx £25m) plus £10m extra cash.
I can’t see the placing failing the vote. And if the OO isn’t taken up in full, that should be good for the SP as the placing discount (40%) seems to assume the full 40% dilution which will be less with a lower OO take up. They don’t need the OO to deal with their shorter term plans.
Except Jimi, we can’t call ourselves a COVID stock until we sell some tests (and the first sample shipment to America shouldn’t count).
£2 levels? You're having a laugh me thinks. If not then I wish you all the luck in the world.
Please don't take any notice of such silly statements. We had a recent spike to £1.50 but that was when DB told everyone the numbers looked fantastic and lied to shareholders about the likelihood of success and timing on POC and other GDR Covid products. Now we've realised there have been no sales at all, anywhere, and the the awful debacle of the recent placing, which is highly likely to fail and result in another crippling plummet of the sp. This will, if we are very, very lucky, scrape through and survive the placing and perhaps claw its way back to 40p by the end of the year. Anything else suggested is simply for dreamers.
True, though I can also see the possibility of a spike or two, to £2 levels in the next 12 months, not a sustained rise but I do believe we could hit that area. Covid cases are only going to increase over the autumn and winter which will without doubt bring attention to Covid stocks again… particularly those with next generation tests (genedrive).
Nothing worthwhile happens over night. I see some on here are for the long-term as they understand the potential with this Company. One year plus is when it's going to get interesting I feel. We'll see.
As optimistic as i am i cant see £2 in the medium term , ie the next 12 months . £1 could be possible BUT we will need some big sales of our POC test as the company has already highlighted our AIHL is going tobe a long term sale and development which is a little disappointing.
Sorry the ?? Is meant to be a rolling eyes emoji
At currently 88% down I will be frantically pressing the sell if we get anywhere near £1. Got suckered into this lemon in the Covid frenzy way back ??
If this gets to a quid I will be out quicker than Usain Bolt, if it gets to 80p I might even get trigger happy to get out of this dog ****e share.
Budd is an absolute goon who shouldn’t have a job in McDonalds (no offence to McDonalds workers).
Finn cap will be out way before 80p!!
Long term holder is a troll I’m 100% convinced lol
I could maybe see £1 if orders flood in , if we don’t release Covid poc by end oct i reason we have missed the boat…..
I can’t average down much until 1st Dec but tbh there’s other shares I may invest in before putting more in here ….
GLA
Longtermramper clearly gets paid for his posts, just look at the nonsense he spouts. The company could go under and he'd say its part of the plan and say be patient.
But we are at 25p how are we gonna get to £2.20 fincapp gave us 80p
It's a very realistic figure. Rather be in this than out ....
Think I may be able to help.
When senior management is changed!
If you remember, around 7-8 months ago this board used to hold a Friday 'GUESS THE SP' competition. That didn't end well!
Anyway, I sincerely hope we see NORTH of £2 again. When - I don't know!
