LOST THE LOT , NO MORE SHARES FOR ME , GOD KNOWS HOW I'M GOING TO TELL THE WIFE, IV ALREADY STARTED PACKING , ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS OUT THE TO HELP ? I'M F@@KED !!!
Humpy was always more likely to fail than to succeed but the NFB provided comforting insurance for a punt. My aspirations for this share have changed significantly now. I have lumped back in at this price and I'll be taking it back off the table at 20p if it reaches those 'heady heights' again. Trading short term is the best way to play FOGL unfortunately. No point just buying and holding when no value will be realised for many months at least if and when the board finally choose to issue CPR's on Zeb and maybe eventually on Izzy as well. Hopefully Izzy will be the huge success we believe it to be but doubtless when it is confirmed the price will drop again at that point while everyone prevaricates pending the eventual CPR. That will probably be the time to buy back in again if so. GLA.
For anyone interested, assuming the Isobel step out is ok FOGL may well have 275-350 mln bbls P50 good quality crude plus some cash and an extensive data room re SFB in itself worth $$$. The P50 crude probably at $3 per bbl. You can do your own sums what may happen when Brent price gets to say $70-75 per bbl which may well be sooner rather than later. Subject to the MMs of course.
Still fishing, with 2 of the support/supply vessels beside, so probably off loading stuff before onward journey NWly.
Is it still hovering over the 200mill duster or are we on the move.
FOGL have Free carry through on Isobel/Elaine Drill and also pick up £10million for change in Drilling programme.
Nice to see there are some sensible people on this BB. (Hope that your average is nicely down now) topped up myself yesterday but sadly missed bottom price but still happy with mid 13p. To all the rest stay strong go about your normal day and be prepared for news in Jan or Feb. To the so called experts with friends in the know bye bye you've been filtered.
Looking at today's trades seems calm so far today. If it does stay that way means there really wasn't much selling at all re Humpy result, which will I suspect later be seen in a better light come January. Now for Isobel hopefully preceded by a steady climb back to sanity. Oil price looks fairly steady and still consolidating.
this one was a sell IMHO
Steady increase over the coming weeks to were it was !!! Seen it all before over reactions panic sells, good time to get in and hold
Be good for top up I think Barchart is still for 100% sell for all terms with 9.903 support
looks like someone taking your advice........nice 200k buy.
to top up at this low price because as luckyman2 says 'FOGL have oil finds in the north and another well will be drilled'. When, not if, the price of oil goes up everything will get into motion and we will realise the benefit of holding these shares. My average is close to 100p but reduced due to top up yesterday. I have been here for many years and will stay until FOGL sell as they do not intend to go into production themselves.
Sure wish I was on the P&D crew's 'friends and family' list.
This has been oversold. We still have oil finds in the North and are on our way to drill another well . This will slowly head back up to 20p as we prepare to drill again.
Most company shareholders would ask the Board To consider their positions It may be a high risk business but who is managing Are they worth their remuneration? Surely not?
Hi eegbvi, what was that frantic friday sept 11th all about when the share price spiked for no apparent reason. Was it really something as sinister as people in the know knew Humpy was a duster, they formulated a pump and dump just to let friends and family out to avoid the impending bad news?
Think you need to face facts. SP is market driven not by FOGL BoD so be a bit careful when you go around making wild accusations. FOGL is guilty of poorly worded statements but that's all. And they had little choice due to the operator agreements with NBL and PMO.
Have a look through previous posts (all topics all months) and take a view whether YOUR BOD have looked after your investment or 'theirs'. Unless SFO bottle it you will read far more on this and it will get more news than +/- SP. IT will change their Game for sure.
Get rid of this BOD. Thieves. NBL dont tell FOGL. FOGL dont tell owners. BOD trouser their money. DODGY Spivs.
Bad new HMS CLYDE and she's passed by without sinking ER heading to Stanley
Timescales anyone for next drill?
Yes, people have long talked about humpback being the gamechanger for fogl, but the more i think about it, even though i am no expert, in my opinion the game changer for fogl and the whole FI hydrocarbons industry could in fact be isobel if the next drill goes to plan.
After the Zebedee result NBL clearly saw Rhea etc as an insurance policy re SFB just as FOGL has Isobel (and others hopefully) BOR is in a fix though at present. Remember having lunch with the late Colin Phipps years ago and he wouldn't touch SFB. Shame his son wrecked DES
