I'm wondering does it become commercial for noble if fogl concedes a further percentage ?
With your knowledge of this game have you ever known 8/9 days plugging a uncommercial well. I personally think there is more to this well than they are letting on. 65mtrs of sands we could of hit the edge of a decent sized play lets hope so...
Don't fall for that don't know if its water oil or gas nonsense. They know very well what they have from the logs !! And its not water nor at the APX depth would there be much gas. Any gas or condensates would be much deeper at HPX etc. Question is how much and quality etc. That leads to commercial or not. I suspect FOGL is telling NBL that they're wrong but we shall see.
Down 0.97% on the back of a stronger dollar fuelled by stronger non farm payroll figures. But the falling rig count indicates that US oil production is on the edge of falling sharply over the next few weeks which in itself should give a higher crude price. Re ER/Humpy looks to me that NBL is trying to sort out a well screw-up. I suspect they know that their statement didn't properly reflect the facts and FOGL was nearer the truth re the 40M etc so we will have to see what transpires next. Another Isobel perhaps. ??
what the hell is going on??!!!! lol
Er still at humpback what for ? Something smells. ...maybe hydrocarbons! !
Wouldbe amazing even if a more slightly positive RNS was on the horizon. Something along the lines of 'lots of oil, good quality and good porosity but due to current PoO deemed uncommercial' would be fantastic!
For all we know humpback could be ALL and MORE than estimated !!
Finished in the blue yesterday and today. Looking good for the Isobel drill.
Calm seas and good weather today and continues for next 5 days. Make hay and all that.
No cleanup m8 they don't know wethers its gas oil or water so what would they use...
Antsinthepants That's an interesting thought.......noble playing hardball the b,stards
Is that they have have a spill again and cleaning up ops in progress again. But there would be more supply/support vessel activity if that had happened.
brewing here, that a few peeps have noticed......
ER moved off at the start of the week, but seems to be hanging around this area now. It's now over a week since the RNS came out, so seems a bit long for completion activities etc.
Highly unlikely/ near impossible. FOGL don't have the funds to go it alone hence the whole point of the farm out to NBL.
for NBL unless NBL/ FOGL renegotiate a deal? just a thought......
Heavy seas and severe gale force winds, probably moved off station to ride out the weather. Moving back to recover the well head now the weather has improved perhaps.
What is the likelihood of poss ER and Fogl going it alone and drilling the second well, which was scheduled under Noble. Could that be poss and could this be what we are observing now on MarineTraffic with ER not moving Northwest bound.
still negotiating behind the scenes....? not in a hurry to head back North?????
give them the rest of the day to figure out the sarcasm lol one of them may need a bit longer ;-)
I am sure it will be commercially viable when the price of oil reaches $80- 90 per barrel. Like eegbvi says they have been there for nearly a week after the RNS sampling and logging probably. It not being written of yet by Noble. imo
Due to second analysis we've determined that humpback is commercially viable. Day 9 sat on humpback another 12 days and we could of had isobel drilled....
Hence why is best to just avoid..or even filter completely...imo Seem to go round in these little Gangs...lol
