I must say, this has held very well during the recent market wide drop. A nice opportunity indeed, I still don't have anything back in here though. I would like to however do not have long term capital available, it is in others as with you. Time really is a luxury to have on this these markets, probably harder to have then the capital it self! All the best mate, still watching with interest.
Hi Al,you alway's said this could be one(Nandi). Only have a few here now, locked into a few others worst luck.
Nice call whatcher! Got the Nandi update after all, bit slower than anticipated, however this part is interesting: "The investment will also enable Nandi to exploit further certain glycation technologies previously licensed to Tate & Lyle plc and now reverted to Nandi." And also: "Interest in Nandi's technology is increasing, in particular with the drive to tackle obesity and other weight-related problems combined with government-led initiatives such as traffic-light food labelling, which is leading the food industry to explore new ways of reducing fats and sugars in product. Nandi's technology has potential application in a wide range of proteins used in the food industry, with the total global protein ingredient market size estimated at $10 billion (Source: UBIC Consulting Report 2014)."
are buys.news soon.
Made a very modest profit of £800 but decided on reflection to sell out and reinvest in Inspired Energy. I wish any shareholders good fortune, I like Frontier ip but I'm determined not to invest any new money in shares until next year.
The Share price inches up, do they have a metric saying equal to this?.Pleased I bought in at 28p and expect steady progress over the next twelve months. Not an easy one for the day traders but for longterm investment, one worth looking at.
Expect steady if unspectacular progress. Frontier IP have a steady management team inplace and growing options . Firms that have weathered the downturn and emerged intact will catch the upturn . The options inplace are well spread and diverse.
Just got some funds available today as well, most likely only short term though... Nice rise here either way and nice additions indeed. James Fish, a chartered accountant, has over 25 years' experience in senior financial positions and a wide range of commercial experience including venture capital funded small/medium-sized enterprises and start-up companies. Michael Bourne has almost 30 years' experience in investment management and particular expertise in technology, life sciences and clean technology.
Well, we knew that this was going to happen when we posted this morning. A gradual rise all day. What is surprising is the lack of posts on here. Obviously still under the radar.
hi guy,s,had a feeling end of march would see new,s,Absolutely potless at the moment ,so could not top up here at moment, was praying they would hold off a bit longer. But can not be greedy i suppose, great news though.
Directors' Dealings Frontier IP, which specialises in the commercialisation of university intellectual property, announces that it was informed on 1 April 2014 that on that date James Fish, Finance Director, purchased 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 28p per share. Following the purchase Mr. Fish has a beneficial interest in 100,000 ordinary shares representing 0.44 per cent. of the issued share capital in the Company. The Company was also informed on 1 April 2014 that on that date Michael Bourne, Non-Executive Director, purchased, through his SIPP and ISA, a total of 175,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 28p per share. Following the purchase Mr. Bourne has a beneficial interest in 175,000 ordinary shares representing 0.78 per cent. of the issued share capital in the Company. The last time Directors bought in the open market was at 9.95p, this probably means a further move North will soon occur.
Hi mate, seen the updates here yesterday and today? Been a while since an update so made a nice change!
pop over here for a bit of peace, read through things again.lol. Yea manic on other bb.
Hi mate. This board is like the complete opposite to the other, it's like having the best of both! With all the companies in FIPP's portfolio, likely there'll be news soon? Just got to wait and see... Here's their current portfolio for anyone that's not seen it http://www.frontierip.co.uk/portfolio/adus-deepocean-limited.aspx
then ,time for a bit of news?
Thanks for clearing this up Pete. I've seen this for another share before too but it hadn't come to mind for FIPP. Will b interesting to see what trades have been missed in the past because of this...
especially with Fipp when it has risen on no apparent trade,s.THX again.
I found out about ISDX when I bought some CCE. If you are not watching both indexes then you may see the SP rising on one of them due to buys on the other. It appears there is no reason for the rise and can be very confusing. A lot of investors are not aware of ISDX.
did not realise how far deception go,s,the other trade,s there are not shown either. They do not even count towards volume for the day. You think it is quiet but.......,PI,s have no idea that some buying or selling has taken place Talk about being kept in the dark.
Some FIPP trades show up on the Secondary ISDX Market and indeed your two trades of 2 x £2k today do appear on there. Your Friday buy of £2k is also on there Go to http://www.isdx.com/forcompanies/ourcompanies/companydetail/default.aspx?securityid=100309 and scroll down to see them on under latest trades.
Hi Al,no,buy1x2k friday,,,,,buy,2x2k this am,none showing.
Is that 2599 trade yours?
L2 1v5 so it is a false book. Should be able to buy 12,500 shares and can only buy 2,000. Should be able to sell 2,500 shares and can sell 15,000. IMO this looks good. Trying to get cheap shares in. May have a big buyer!!
something afoot here ,restricted buying,i thought new,s may be due toward,s end of month with holding,s timing. Has the hallmark,s of a biggish buy taking place to me.
today all not showing, what they doing?. Where else can you see trade,s.?
