I agree, regarding sentiment, it can change in a heartbeat with stocks and ffwd is one of those that when it moves it runs quick. Unfortunately when it goes quiet, it stagnates for months at a time as volume dries up. Ffwd management have been guilty in the past of not getting out there and touting the company, and whilst Ed is better than his predecessor he seems to have gone off the boil, he does wear a lot of hats so not sure how much he is committed to ffwd. Who knows what’s going on with that guy, time will tell.
No offence taken
I have been here a very very very very long time.
I'm long and strong.
Sentiment is everything, as you say.. I still there will be balers but what we need is a recognition of the value of our remaining gold nuggets.
That's, the prob.
I absolutely think you’re talking drivel (no offence!) Sentiment is low atm because the SP is low. When the SP increases & FFWD is popular again with all their fast growing CBD & cannabis companies everyone will want to be in again. Sentiment is everything & it switches v v quickly. When it does, like it did a couple of months ago, investors were happy to pay over NAV. I guarantee you one RNS is enough to change the majority of investors sentiment. Oh how fickle we are
I understand that fully.
There will be a load of balers because there is nothing else at the mo to maintain a substantial increase in the share price. Not for me there isn't. But the NAV may rise hopefully on the other liquidity events which appear on the horizon. I think the, share prixec I'll rise on anticipation gradually. There will be wind of it. But I think loads, will bale. But am I talking g drivel?.
Got you, of course, thanks for the explanation. And 25p would do me just fine!
J2300 - if they sold leap & SP opened up at 25p you’d assume that was its cash worth. So if everyone tried to sell - very quickly people would be selling below its cash value. Then you get people seeing value & so buy in. Or, MMs might anticipate a sell off & so open below the extra cash value of Leap. In which case you may find no one sells, we just have a few buyers
For me the future for FFWD is there change of direction they are taking, Leap and the cash they have will put them on the road to success , Ed needs to put his stamp on the company if he’s going to succeed, that means the big 3 need to stay in the background and let him lead or just move on , we know Ed,s not got full control yet as we saw what went on with Portage , but he might just get there.
Let’s assume LEAP goes the way we would like it to. We open up one morning at 25p or whatever (just guessing for the sake of this example), surely it would just be a race to the sell button and the SP would crash? Would a special dividend be better?
