I agree with that last comment rich. Sick to death of their usual crap
Don't let facts get in the way of a good "I know lots of secret stuff you all don't know" story from the usual two.

It's not really gapping at the moment. Gapping is when the SP justs so much that it doesn't trade in the 'gap' between the last price and the next price - usually on news, but it can happen on sentiment alone. Usually the 'gap' gets filled eventually on a retrace, but that can be in days, weeks or months afterwards.
There could be many reasons for a seller (everything from someone's died, to someone needing to pay for a hospital bill, to some dodgy fecker trying to hammer a smallcap down dumping shares then open a large spread on it going up - not that it's legal....but anyway, to sometimes happening around corporate transactions, and probably a bazillion other reasons).
The rise isn't because of the sells, the fall is due to the sells, the rise is because when the selling finishes the buying can then outweigh the selling, and the MMs will have restocked their coffers with lots of nice cheap shares, and can benefit from a rising price, with no big seller, in the same way any buyer benefits, but also making their cut from the spread too.
Gap it? What does that mean?
We had warning that they were going to take the stock down a few weeks ago,
We had warning today they were going to gap it
They now have stock and are ready and waiting for news.
I noticed Conker/Ed's Master Investor Interview hasn't been aired yet.
Huge sells = a rise in SP. yep, i’m baffled too. Why sell down here?! Maybe they are buys.
Looks like it's a day of learning for me. Not sure what I'm learning though?!
chilston - it happens.....but look at the ask now. Up to 8.7p. ;)
150k repeated sells, one after the other
It's how they do, Chills, these devious MMs. Wrack your brains, but you'll never unravel their machinations.
What's baffling?
It's not the rns rich. We all saw daily sells for months. Then it stopped. Nothing to do with the rns. But these trades are seriously baffling me this afternoon
We'll never get "proof" of anything chilston whatever happens ;)
Although I do think it still sounds like you're misunderstanding that RNS of a couple of weeks ago which was essentially just a copy of an old one reposted for no reason.
I've never seen this before. Pretty new to me. Dumping and buying??? Wtf?
Ho ho...love the confusion
I'm happy to be proved wrong on this occasion.
Even though not flagged as late (though trade feeds are nonsense so no surprise there).
I noticed/assumed that too. Also a good sign for being done. You tend to get clumps at the end.
Fingers crossed.
sells are late reported - they're not affecting the bid/ask.
I disagree.
Hi rich. Not correct. Previous seller went out 2 weeks ago. This is new
I don't think it's Jesus though.
Jesus saves not dumps ;)
chilston - it's been going on for many days/weeks. My punt is that it's nearly done (hence my buy). Bid has just ticked up. Will be interesting to see what happens if we get some decent buying now and find out whether they're done or not.
