What I dont understand is why anyone would take the risk of holding to a TU and then sell when it come out good but the SP hasn't moved from yesterday's price ??? Bizzarre
I Guess one explanation might be DJ, that they got in when the SP was around 2.9p have made 20% and on so-so but ok figures don't want to wait any longer. (Maybe hoping for a "surprise" bump this morning and it did not quite deliver for them?)
Anyway, I think this has a bit of legs in it, myself.
I agree Wyn. This will get coverage over the next few days for sure and the market will wake up to the opportunity and clear evidence of a good turnaround in play :)
What we need is CC to buy some more :)
Encouraging to see minimal uplift in cash I guess but given that bed in a box brands were so pandemic friendly a little disappointing not to have cashed in further during that period imho?. Very little about sales in France beyond a mention of the big recent marketing spend. The Amazon decision remains bold. It’s snooze time here for a few months before we see some results of the continental experiment dyor
This is going to pop .... lots of marker small sells atm by MM's
Citizen.. get back to Orph and commentate on that as it continues it's journey South ....
the old small sell marker gag! love it. Might pop but more in the opposite direction in the next month or two imho, let's see
I am glad you are so upbeat here..... nice change for you :)
Orph's a good buying opportunity
@ 16.5p :)
I'm fairly new here, interesting company in a crowded market, but key question seems to be whether the bed in box market will grow beyond pandemic, too early to tell for me
sure is Andinio, and ditto here good buying @2.70, though I might hold out for @2.50, hard to keep momentum in these micro-cap businesses, next news is when? French sales data after christmas? gla
Well if you sell your underwater holding there then your always welcome here.. better hurry thou I think it's not going that well at the hype factory at orph
We'll see. As it happens I'm well up on ORPH and very happy to hold there. On balance I'd rather have some interest in a c. £200m immunology and data business with three spin out companies than a £10m bed maker with a marketing punt in the French market. In my experience there are always so many unforeseen risks with these very low volume shares, easy to buy in the good times, much harder to sell in the bad. Retail is so fragile just now. But you takes your chances I guess. Really hope you are finally on a longshot winner here. GLA
I'll stick around here see which way it goes - you've got good form in that respect - having looked at this business I think there is an entry point but I don't think it's at these levels, more like back where it was in August
Citizen - both Andino and myself were in your share and did very very well overall. This business is now a stable one with a low cost model and gross margins over 50% with costs reducing. At this Mcap it is ridiculously cheap which other posters have clearly articulated given the cash balance and light cap model. So, given the shared history with Orph through Woodford, Link and a ridiculous share off load at 1p this was priced to destruction. It is not going to fail and these margin are way higher than their competitors given Simba reported a gross margin of 25% last accounting period. No brainer for me as in a crowded market this now has an edge. That's my take.
Sure. We're all looking for entry points though - I guess that's why you still post so frequently and negatively on ORPH. For me, this looks a bit toppy at these prices, with limited news and given all the uncertainties in the retail sector. There are always two sides to every company. I'll be scrutinising more funtil I think it's the moment to buy. Good luck with your investing.
I post negatively on that because it is full of rampers talking the business up beyond all realistic levels and decrying anyone who puts forward a sensible view. See you there, as at least I evidence my position if you go back and, for the record, I was absolutely right on all counts. Stick around nice to have a bear view .
I don’t think that we are going to see the EVE SP at the August levels (low 3p) again. I believe that ship has sailed. All points to going up from here.
Oh … and we have a gap on the charts to fill … 31.50p to 65.00p :)
pretty hard to apply charts to a £10m stock with such tiny daily volumes... good luck with that... I just can't see what news is going to drive this in the coming volatile weeks, when money will no doubt be going very defensive... my sense is a slow drift down until christmas, snooze time for holders, significant new investors will want a bit more flesh on the bone as today's trading indicates good luck anyway
is that all you have got for the bear Case Citizen ?? No wonder you only own one share LOL
