Seems like they are middle men......maybe that's why they called MM's. LOL :-) Anyways it was an interesting read but I still have my doubts as to the value they add....seems like they can be taken out with technology the way it exists today.
I think though, if you are talking about this stock, it’s volatile because it has very low liquidity. It would be erratic regardless of MM’s, but I agree, the less middle-men the better, where ever there are people positioned in the flow of money there is a distinct chance of some of it going missing ;)....
Thanks Meno...seems very comprehensive and informative. .... will read and digest.
This is quite informative: https://www.investorschronicle.co.uk/shares/2018/11/09/the-truth-about-market-makers/
To cream as much of the PI's hard earned cash as possible! definitely needs looking into!

Can anyone explain to me in layman's terms...in today's world where we have electronic set off of sells and buys what the MM's role actually is on AIM.....as I believe they only exist here......besides manipulation....!!
Holders are holding position and new money is waiting in the wings to pile in if these Jorc figures are juicy.
Come on juicy Jorc!!!!
Gla
got a feeling it will be a dead trading day today ... No FOMO buyers as the Jorc isnt due for at least another 2 weeks...
Watson.
Dont hold your breath.
This is manipulated to within an unch of its life
Disgusting
We nearly managed a blue day yesterday, piped by a last minute sell, maybe today we can turn the tide and go blue. GLA
There was a report about insurance on the news this morning that the FCA have commented on. I was in shock as I thought the FCA was mythical like Unicorns and Gummy Bears.
Shedulike post 14:38. Spot on I think and that could possibly mean news next week, reference JORC. Well done contacting the FCA, but let us not hold our breath. I am busy with work now so only check in here a couple of times a day, but am happy to see BUYRED as dissapeared after his unprovoked attack on one of our few excellent informative posters, "Oiltap".
GLA.
Lots of brand new shares hit the Market on Monday.
News before? News after?.
Will be interesting next 2 weeks that is for sure...........
Gla!!!
Didn't say they would accept (might) is completely different.
They bought 1m pounds shares, I just bought 1000 same price and wait.
I second that, well done bricks, your efforts are appreciated.
Looks like buyers returning, hopefully our gamble paying off :)
Someone might pay them off to drop the case, cash is king... say no more squire.
Bricks, thank you for taking this forward. I hope something constructive comes of it
The Turner Pope issuing of warrants at 65% reduction of their own valuation @ 0.071 pence really hacked me off. That does need looking into IMO.
Also Turner Pope raising 1m pounds by issuing warrants at 0.0025 then the very next day putting out a brokers note saying the shares are worth 0.0071.......fook.....why didnt they raise the warrant price then ?
@ Oils I am also not so sure what they are doing is actually legal ito their trading modus operanda...ie Sell in open market when its high and bring the share price down....then invoke warrants at a lower price..... without LSE permission....hence my email.
Messages passed in the airwaves :-)
@Bricks.....I should have said .......Did you mention the Rns relating to a Tr1 notification stating a reduction in holding that Euz received approx 2 weeks earlier?.
Thanks
They will do a full investigation. The TR1 is what made me write the email. Im also not so sure what they are doing by "selling" their shares in the open market and then exercising their warrants is actually legal. I am also seeking their advise on that.
