I know how to clear the beaches, send Shark down there to bask in the water...:-)
Mannamead, you can guarantee that if any of his family members were unlucky enough to contract the virus (like mine) his tune would change in a heartbeat. What a selfish individual
ATB, Pete
Shark20, how can you say no one is catching it anymore. 1625 people were confirmed to have Caught Covid-19 yesterday, of those a percentage will die and add to the sadly growing figure of 36000+. Think it’s a stretch to call it a tyranny, you’re allowed out you’re home, you can exercise, you can buy what you want. The economy will recover in time but sadly 36k plus people have never recovered and that will only grow the more we loosen the lockdown too soon.
Shark20
Not sure if you're aware but Weston general hospital in Somerset closed to all routine Appointments and accident and emergency due to a fresh outbreak of Covid 19........l

I watched Horizon covid last night. Largest connections by far with deaths were diabetes, obesity and age well into advanced years. Well worth a watch. There were certainly a few shocks in amongst the facts that we don’t see on the dailynews.
The lockdown will kill more than it will save. This is empirically true ergo to claim it is selfish to want to get back to normal is illogical.
To say the lockdown would have ended up killing more in the long run is madness. You don’t go out feeling ill but often you also don’t feel I’ll straight away and that’s how it’s been spreading has it not?
Shark20 your post comes across as selfish. Thousands of people are still getting the virus. Please have a rethink. I wish you continued good health and the same for your family.
GLA today JJ
People would of gone to the beach knowing they are healthy like all like minded people. You dont go out if your feeling ill. 95% of deaths are people who have underlying health issues that's a fact of course your going to get some young people who succumb but that happens with all health issues like stroke cancer heart attack.. people can make there own minds up... the lockdown will end up killing more in the long run.
Shark20, you are of course perfectly entitled to your view, one can assume you are young and think yourself invincible, the young have died as well though of course nothing like the elderly population, I suggest you go and have a nice time on the beach then if you are immune to this virus..
I think the WHO is a CCP stooge however.

This may sound callous but old people die from influenza every year but we do not deliberately create recessions that skirts depressions through zombie economy madness. Fair enough when the Wuhan Flu first broke containment and the CCP were playing fast and loose with facts (no evidence of human to human transmission cos CCP said so even though Taiwan could prove otherwise back in January.) It was right to go into lockdown but now we have the data it is time to act accordingly.
Sweden got it right. We in the UK have gotten it wrong and the repercussions will be felt generationally in the form of devalued fiat currency.
Oh and the UN reckons tens of millions are going to die through starvation thanks to the fact Africa basically relies on American and European food surpluses and that system has been thoroughly interrupted. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/u-n-warns-hunger-pandemic-amid-threats-coronavirus-economic-downturn-n1189326
So there you go, it's time to stop moralizing and just get on with it.
Good health all.
Good morning, Bellers, and Pommy, yes, the usual negative with no proof suspects and general stirrers, Pommy looks like your 07:00 am guess is out :-) bad luck, lovely day again though.
Morning Blue, according to the papers people were traveling hundreds of miles just to visit Southend from up north, you might want to review your post, Haha.
Well there you have it, how about the old and vulnerable isolate and the young and healthy get on with getting on. Stop shaming people for enjoying life. We need this economy to open up no abnormal distancing and no restrictions no one is catching the virus anymore and the Economy is being torched. This is not the place for this discussion Ian, but as we have another morning with no news I can't let it go uncontested, not everyone agrees there is any reason for this Tyranny.
If only it were these idiots who were getting infected and dieing rather than the old.
crazy Ian , i did see pictures from it yesterday and couldn't believe what i was seeing , anyway hopefully we wont have too much silly arguing today , but hey i wont bet against it .
I have just seen the BBC 1 News at 06:30 reporting with pictures from yesterday's Bank Holiday Monday beach scene from Southend-on-Sea, just like any normal Bank Holiday Monday.... This time in the middle of a global pandemic...
Absolute madness at its best, plonkers!
