Inishkia j/v maybe or like you say speclative?
A lot of buys coming in
Not one for the nervous but Europa seem to have a far greater chance of farm in to their Irish gas prospect than PRD. A Frontier Exploration Licence issued as opposed to PRD's attempts to move from Licensing Option to FEL. They appear to have placed much faith in a mystical LNG kingdom namely Mag Mel. EOG's EIS work clearly proves that homeland gas is far greener and is the only option for energy transition.
Competent and compelling interview - certainly in charge of all the relevant numbers - farm put up to 12 months away - I hope not
Listening to that interview there must be an opportunity somewhere to start a campaign against dirty UK gas v clean Irish gas! How pig headed can Irish Greens be? OK , well other Irish politicians at least.
@B. Thanks for reporting back. Seems a decent, clear response. Perhaps we can now cross off “lack of responsiveness” from his list of failings!?
Seems a good number that we are getting some of our money back from doing work on the licence - every penny counts.
Still all of no use if they can’t farm it out - and soon. We need a significant event to break free of whoever is selling off whenever anyone dares to buy a few more.
Received an answer from Will as follows
“I do not personally receive any fees for being a director of Antler and it would be inappropriate for me to do so. However, like the rest of the EOG team I bill the time that I spend on Antler, and all of these costs are recovered from the funds that we invested in Antler, ie we are recovering some of our investment in Antler as we progress the technical and commercial aspects of the business through normal inter-company billing.“
It is appreciated to get a reply
@Serif yes to be fair I will report back if I hear anything further
@B. I would be disappointed if that was so and it wasn’t going back to eog -as I noticed that Antler were paying eog for any work they did on processing the data etc. May be worth giving them more than a couple of days to respond before making that assumption?
Yes and no way to remove him until his term is up
Pure Deja vous today - lots of similar tbs’s over the years / copy and paste - but as the old Wendy’s af used to say where’s the meat - better be coming for all our sakes
I asked the question in regards to Wills remuneration from Antler and there was no reply, so it is assumed that he does receive some kind of salary. We pay them £3m and he is appointed as a director with a salary. Good way to give yourself a pay rise without giving yourself a pay rise.
What a share ? Even positive news causes the share price to fall ( or be contained). But I agree, we have had enough .reports , get off the pot if you are not going to pi..
I invested on the back of the Irish licenses, even I am fed up now of report after report. Either farm it out or give it a rest WH. I am more optimistic about EG now. A farmout here should set us on the right path to a recovery in the SP.
One day, maybe?
Good opportunity to remind he Irish Gov and particularly the new Taoiseach of what’s on the table here.
Fg, morning yes progressing well I think , get the j/v partner then it’s off to the races we go!!
Good morning, Bubble. Hopefully, EOG is a sleeping giant!
Might have to wait a year, or three, to find out!
ATB, FG
Next news will be joint venture partners imho
Rns out , some good news
Ditto!
It was the same yesterday as well Serif, I could have bought at .969. I was tempted to average down some more but I’ve got too many already 😫
Couldn’t guarantee it, but based on a couple of dummy buys today, think that it may have been all buys today - which would make a change - but also shows what a bargain price is available atm.
Fyi I emailed EOG regarding the apparent discrepancy between the 530bpd av. for Nov/Dec/Jan and the NSTA data which averages 502bpd for the same period. Here is the reply.
"Production from 1st November 2023 through to end January 2024 averaged 530 bopd, and coincidently, production from 1st January 2024 through to end March 2024 also averaged 530 bopd - i.e. average well production has been relatively steady over both these periods. On the back of your message, we have now contacted the Operator to query the NSTA reported figures as we believe the production reported via NSTA for December 2023 is erroneous, thank you for bringing that to our attention."
If NSTA's December number is incorrect, it would have to increase from 439 bpd to 520 bpd to reconcile to EOG's stated 530bpd average. In this case, the new NSTA data would be Nov. 458 bpd, Dec 520 bpd, Jan 609 bpd - but that has yet to be confirmed.
