Itsaponzi... And what exactly makes you think that your beloved AB is actually an intelligent man? He bought at near 40 and keeps buying paying over the odds. I can buy now at a fraction of what he paid. Now... who is the intelligent man? Beware all this fanfare about AB buying shares. DEB & TCG directors bought a **** load of shares in their companies. I guess you know what happened to them? Next in line is SXX and ENQ is not safe at all either. Be careful
Someone is selling this down and happy to lose money !!!
Maybe analysts are right about enquest???
If something is to good to be true it normally is maybe we have that here ..
But AB keeps spending millons but would an intelligent man with his finger on pulse really bankrupt his family ???
16s next ?? Hope not but there is nothing to stop this now imafraid.
AB big buys can't even prop up.the share now I think the trap door has been opened now.
Back in the 17’s, maybe Neil is correct
Good to see the CEO putting his money where his mouth is yet again.
40% of production hedged with 3.9 million barrels at a floor of $66.
Thanks for the clarification Pelle. It's epiphany's fault - he should be at work and increasing his carbon footprint rather than answering my whimsy. One thing the three of us agree on is that a healthy company throwing off cash will never be ignored whatever business it's in. And that is where we're heading!
Hi Romaron,
E and P is much more simple:-)
Epiphany and Pelle.
It looks like you answered E and say hello Pelle
Are you mixing up E with P? - Not sure what you mean but I take the holistic approach and each has its influence and importance. We're not popular and it is for a variety of reasons. We are at the weaker end of the spectrum so even AB growing a beard might adversely affect the price. If the E & P refer to Exploration and Production then the only way to increase reserves is too Explore (or EOR) which is what we are doing with SeaPulse. The company is actually increasing success rates by exploring in and near its own fields. Add that to an innovative arrangement and we might well see other companies following our lead.
Hi Romaron,
Are you mixing up E with P? :-)
I am not worried about debt, production increasing and all cost going down.
I am sticking to my guns and say FCF 500 mill 2020 at 60 oil and production at 70-75k.
I am not worried about SP either, once market understanding there money here it doesn’t matter if it’s oil or tobacco.
Look at Lundin Petroleum, even oil companies can get an high valuation if they will generate a lot cashflow in future.
End of the day people are greedy
I think capital market day in Nov will be a big catalyst for going into 2020.
Can’t wait
Hi Pelle, I'm not even sure it is the debt levels. There is almost a total freeze on oil investments at present and it is across the board. It is even more worrying if you're in shale. I'd be more worried if other oil companies were climbing rapidly. There is little kudos in an analyst or pundit promoting an oil investment at present so unless there is new news we'll drift. Obviously the POO has an effect too which isn't one company specific.
I'm sure he knows more than any of us, Romaron. Whilst the market is fixated on the Enquest debt levels and isn't willing to mark the prices up, AB does see the LT value in the SP and so do most of us. The trade war needs to be sorted for oil to stabilise and Kramer has already warned Numpty of the dangers of escalation of his war and I'm convinced they'll get to tariff roll-backs in November. That'll bring home a Santa Claus rally in Brent/WTI and for us too.
GL all..
You wouldn't buy like AB has done if things were going bad ??
He must be laughing at these analysts forecasts but its Mr market you need to convince.
This could double in a blink to be honest ..
I'm gonna be controversial here but I reckon AB knows more than any of us.
Thank god he has been buying heavily otherwise this would be 12p ..
