There is a diff Tullow had to spin as hard as possible the 10% rate away without it they were in trouble. To Enquest new finance is just part of everyday business.
Almost 8%, happy days!!
Jeez, 7% up before lunchtime is a splendid start to the week!!
Non problema Monkey. They also suffer from that other character failing. A total lack of humour. Not the case with you.
Be lucky
There is absolutely no point just posting happy clappy on these boards - just say what you think, as long as it is relevant, that can include comment on the whole of the energy sector, now and in the future - just go for it.
Comment on the companies performance at all levels is particularly relevant - good and bad.
There is the option of a filter button.
Romaron you are the weirdo on this site bleating on and on about nothing, You bring zero to news to this BB and never have done. I have posted every trade I'm about to make - proof is there in black and white unlike yourself I might add. I told you on the day why I did not make the AGM in 2019.
I have always moaned about Enquest and its marketing strategy from when they failed to even inform the market that our biggest investment had finally left port for Kraken - Everything balanced on it, we were going straight into liquidation if we had a further delay.
Get off your high horse FFs
Romaron sorry I can't offer anything to this board really as not knowledgeable enough about this sector, but please don't put me down with chilting, monkey,ps I'm a real long term holder with shares and all in x
Mod They might not need to but being a UK oil company (Dirty oillie) you need to promote it well, read Tullow's refinancing RNS and then tell me we have promoted well !
Hi Modestus - I doubt KO is even a shareholder. He promised to attend an AGM and then used the flimsiest of excuses to cry off with days to go a few years ago. Even if he is a shareholder he is far to erratic and excitable to offer anything of value. I've placed him with that other weirdo chilting. Neither are that bright or have ever offered any original thoughts. They changed views on a daily basis.
Why if you're not invested hang around. They may be timid day traders but have nothing to offer me.
That last RNS was so poor the market still doesn't have enough Information.
Looking at the last three months performance from the mid March highs with BP as the benchmark.
Tullow has followed BP for most of that time and is back up to the same levels as March - the gains so far today have established a years high - BP is also at a years high.
Enquest is about 20% behind Tullow and BP - so a fairly creditable performance.
Harbour is seriously adrift - about 50% down on BP and Tullow since Premier days in March and more or less flat since Harbour started trading on 1st April.
So Enquest has some catching up to do on the rest of the sector but its nothing that a big increase in buying volume cannot solve - over to you AB.
Krak, stop moaning. So many US shalers that have gone up 3-4-5-600% don't do anything to "market" their company either. It is simply the fact we (or the English oilers as a group) haven't attracted the money flows yet. Our time will come.
But it wont hold unless we see some consolidation along with much higher volumes
Low volume or not , you cant knock a 5% rise so far today
We are still struggling with volume, I was hopeful that once we had refinancing out the way we might see increasing daily volume but still something causing the market to swerve us.
This is now purely down to Enq and it’s damn right terrible marketing !
I’d love to ask AB why promoting Enquest is so bad
Well Brent is leading the way this week, I’d like to see the Sp reach yearly highs this week and a few broker upgrades
mrc
Thank you for the clarification.
No that's fine.
I can see that your glass is more than half full ! Very good. My glass was like yours for a long time then a couple of times I got bumped into, and spilt some. Still positive, just glass has a little less in it!
Maybe AB and Enquest's performance this year will fill it up again. Here's hoping 60p Party.
Good hedge bit more if not already done.
I happy accept if it’s wrong decision and oil go to 80-90.
Then we anyway have hit the jackpot
As you might note im quite bullish.
Obviously quite a few risks too. Anything might happen with poo. Dependant on quite few assets. And so on
Tigar
£1 party all depends on poo. Maybe never, maybe this year. A fair valuation, taking sentiment into account, is perhaps 2-3 times given what we know at this time. GE closed, EP put into proper usage (sorry Therapist, your business doesnt count) and poo that continues to rise, then it is quite reasonable with £1 before end of year. Keep in mind the leverage. Each day that goes by without any major incident means quite some bit of FCF to the owners
Balance sheet must strengthen a lot even without OO.
Both Enq H1 and future oil price assumption.
And adding GE with higher then 50 oil assumptions.
Will send AB a bottle of Swedish snaps for midsummer if he cancel OO.
That will make SP fly like a rocket:-)
Chilting - a prospectus is required for the deal as it is an RTO.
My take and I also may be wrong but I thought Suncor have put GE assets into a new company that Enquest will takeover and put into Enquest heather with its tax credits therefore this would require shareholder approval with or without OO hence size of OO is still up for debate. Would not be surprised to find a buyer for a placement sitting in the wings prepared to pay a premium for a stake. This has 2023 £1 party all over it.
The RNS confirming the debt facility on the 11th June concludes with the following statement -
"Further details on the new facility will be included in the forthcoming prospectus associated with the Group's proposed acquisition of the Golden Eagle assets."
The way I read that is that is that publishing a prospectus means that there will be an equity issue - otherwise why issue a prospectus???
I stand to be corrected.
