So if we don't get an RNS by and including Monday 2nd August, then we can say ham tomorrow to the following
- The Company expects to re-commence shipping washed coal in July to one of its anchor tenants with a supply arrangement of 750 tonnes per month having been agreed.
- A trial shipment of 180 tonnes of washed coal has been dispatched to a local cement producer and subject to satisfactory performance of this coal an order of 3,000 tonnes per month is anticipated to follow in July.
Let's see if we add it to the list of jam tomorrow
Ham or jam!!!
There will a RNS after lunch on the 29th July 2021
A cynical but most likely a correct view of EDL.
I'm expecting a substantial update before the AGM.
They have the weather, cash, labour force and prospective orders in their favour. With the current investors on board and the talk of acquisitions, they must have a good level of confidence in the necessary income, so looking forward to what transpires in the next 5 days and beyond.
One thing for sure the trades this week will be an indication of how the market views EDL's future.
Aerial, I imagine a few long term holders will be keeping an eye on their averages, it's been a longer haul than expected, what's another year or two?
GL to all that have endured.
esquimo
I’m hopeful that at some stage the bod and the larger investors will want to benefit from a higher SP, why wouldn’t they. Hopefully sooner than later!
Still might add a few next week as rightly or wrongly I personally think we are now better placed to rerate than ever before.
Another few years is less of a problem if in, or close to profit
aimhopdyor
1 year 2 years, its called kicking the can down the road.
They need a roadmap not a can kicking strategy.
Lets see how this week plays out but if they release another load of waffle i can see a lot of investors calling it a day. imho
JEZZAC, cast your mind back to 2017/28, we had interest from customers well in excess of 10k tonnes per month for washed coal, double shifts, night lighting unfortunately mudstone had zero value, hence the cash flow problems.
We are now in a position to fill what orders that we get with actual coal. I think this week could be decisive in EDL's fortunes. 5 days to go. 3.5 if Aerial's prediction is correct.
2017/18 not 28, fat fingers!
@Esquimo that is the problem we have always had interest from customers well in excess of 10k tonnes per month but they have never materialised or been named.
It seem you have more chance of Spurs winning a trophy than EDL hitting 10k per month.
esquimo
What prediction was that?
The RNS after lunch on the 29th July 2021 is just a formality
Aerial noon Thursday RNS.
Is not Friday the AGM, I assumed that that your Thursday prediction was a bit of cynicism.
No I thought the AGM was on the 29th :-|
There will a RNS after lunch on the 30th July 2021 :))
You must have had an early parking spot for y our BIKE in mind, LOL.
I’m not going, I don’t see the point
If I was free, the ten minute walk to Borough Market would be enough to get me there
Aerial, not going??? Who is there to argue for us?
Why would I argue for you, and then come on here and argue with you about what’s been said?. …
Perhaps if you write a list like you did for Sally Schofield GW might pop it along to the Womble Bond Dickinson Building by City Hall and hand it to the receptionist anytime prior to the AGM!?. …
It's really unnecessary aerial
There hasn't been a cross word on here since Wednesday lunch time last week. Can't we keep it civil?
That is a great idea aerial, GW are you going? If so can you read our my list of questions, pleeease
Thank you Sausage at least you saw my post for what it was! A perfectly civil reasonable post given that GW said it was a ten minute walk. I had no issue taking sos’s list to an AGM. Perhaps GW thinks it’s a bit below his station.
I would add that there have been no arguments because you GW haven’t been part of the debate since the 21st, but it looks as though you’re trying to initiate one !!
