Anyone had any contact with Brad recently?
Rueters reporting canadian stocks rise on the price of oil
Surely if it is game over they have to announce it? With the current proposed dilution it is as good as game over for long term holder anyway, but would be good to know. I always thought Brad was a ?!,! but people who were closer to him painted him as a quiet guy and a safe pair of hands. Hey ho that is AIM in vesting.
Look at every bulletin board I can find no one else is any the wiser
The Company had previously announced on April 5, 2016 that its lender (“ATB”) had provided notice requiring payment in full of Edge’s outstanding indebtedness plus interest, costs and fees by Monday, April 11, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. MST; however, the deadline is now Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. MST. It is now a week since the last ultimatum and yet apart from reading that the shares are suspended we have had no other information. Is that a good sign or is it a bad one? I'm suggesting that it may very well be a good sign. If the bank has given an ultimatum and they have not acted on their threat, if they had acted we would have known by now, then Brad has probably given some assurance that he can solve the problem. If the bank has carried out it's threat and called in the Official Receiver the first thing he would do is to sack the emloyees, lock the premises and carry out an inventory to ascertain the company's worth. He would inform all shareholders and creditors of the situation. I would presume that a week was more than sufficient time to put out a 'notice' to that effect. Although they may do things a little different in Canada. Meanwhile back to watching the paint dry.
If we are in the hands of the receiver why no rns deadlines bin and gone
Yes sadly the window is closing on distressed asset purchase that we all thought we are on the positive end of, some people may be looking at this as ripe for the picking. If Brad had Even done half of what we expected or should have done we would be emerging out the other side with oil on the rise and a more positive future to look forward to.
as far as uk is concerned. company hangs by a thread, may get notice of some kind of restructuring on tsx or formal winding up so a total loss.
Off my account so guess that's that lol
So is the halt so they can announce the rescue plan or is this the end of the road? I'm still none the wiser. I suppose we'll know more tomorrow.
Reason: At the Request of the Company Pending News IIROC can make a decision to impose a temporary suspension of trading in a security of a publicly listed company, usually in anticipation of a material news announcement by the company. Trading halts are issued based on the principle that all investors should have the same timely access to important company information. IIROC is the national self-regulatory organization which oversees all investment dealers and trading activity on debt and equity marketplaces in Canada.
No trading on TSX at the moment.
Hi Confounded, The fact that we have not been suspended on TSX gives me some confidence that Brad has sorted out the financials. He has several items from the AGM that need to be sorted ie. consolidation of shares from 20 to 1, etc. My guess is that Brad will be giving us some news (only good I hope) where he explains the new finance deal and his plan for moving forward. I don't think contacting Brad will gain anything. He will probably wait until he is ready to tell everyone in a 'News Report' (they don't use RNS on TSX).rather than give any info to one individual. Meanwhile we sit and wait. The news reports are posted on the Web site.:) On the other hand we may be about to be flushed away. :(
Anyone tried contacting Brad, I seemed we continue to be trading on TSX so a good sign that we were not suspended but where is the news?
There's not been a trade for days. Doesn't look good....
We appear to be still trading ATM so that is a good sign, I guessing it is going to the wire tonight.
See if you good chaps have posted either way. Cheers fellas. Sv
Details of General Meeting. The lack of info suggests to me that Brad may have saved the day. The time and work put into the meeting would not have been done if the BOD had called it a day. My view, for what it's worth, is that we may get some positive information today. If we are told that we another chance, great, if we are told that the finances are not forthcoming so be it. There's nowt we can do but grin and bare it. MST = Mountain Standard Time = 4 hours behind us. http://www.edgeres.com/news/news_releases/2016/04/edge-resources-announces-results-of-annual-general-and-special-meeting
Still nothing on Sedar. Is no news good news? Are they still negotiating?
Anyone know?
I notice the last four filings were made just before 6pm ET. If today's news follows the same pattern we'll know something by 11pm BST. But we may not. The four filings before those were after 10pm ET so that would make it somewhere after 3am here. All guesswork really. Who knows what's going on.
Hi Smidsy, fingers crossed we can salvage somthing, I will only every get a fraction back but stuck at it as up until recently felt that Brad had a good handle on costs and our financial position. What meeting is it? I only saw the bit about repaying debt by April 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. MST, it is 11am MST ATM.
Hi Confounded, I am expecting some info on todays meetings. Don't forget they are five hours behind us. Check on Stockhouse later there will probably be a report on there. Brad will update the Web site as well.
Would be nice to know if they made it or not. I can only guess they have a genuine deal on the table and the lender see the merit in letting it conclude.
Tomorrow. Is it s##t or bust time?
