so after a long wait for an expensive share, some news appears that the covenant due on 30th september has been delayed to 30th november and the company is preparing a form of equity fundraising :- http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=200909300700219260Z no wonder vidacos nominees removed their holdings in e2v recently. what does the market maker do? raises the ask price to 77p. currently a spread of 5.75p. how is a private investor ever going to make money? forget it. too much of a high risk play.
this is a great tech company but not a good time to get in. i'm keeping watch on the developments but at this level, the share price is really too expensive for the amount of uncertainty. last i read, 1 out of 3 cradit facilities has reached it's maximum....and i still haven't heard of much cost cutting...

E2V supplies sensors and tubing to general industrials and defence companies. Neil Hermon, the manager of the Henderson Smaller Companies investment trust, says,“The problem is the company has too much debt and its balance sheet is stretched. The share price is moribund, but it has got good recovery potential if it can raise capital, which it will do soon." www.fundstrategy.co.uk/this-weeks-issue/investment-trusts.html
and the doom and gloom of a bleak future coming from this company, i cannot believe the share price is still over 50p. very expensive! one to watch but not worth buying in now.
