Furloughed talk g today's are you for real
Don't be stupid
That's PM comments on demand in take his word not your for the forceable
r it.
Management has also prudently modelled three indicative "no fly" scenarios of increasing durations being:restarting flying on 1 September 2020; restarting flying on 1 January 2021; and restarting flying on 1 April 2021. All three scenarios assume a gradual ramp up of flying operations, initially running at reduced average load factors that are significantly below historic levels.
honestly, any one pressing the matter of there not being any demand is deluded! you only need to take a look at the beaches, ques getting to them and price hikes the U.K tourist industry are adding.
many have had this virus and need a long over due break to get back on track. many are probably in the position to be able to block book holiday leave/furloughed/retired to be able to be abroad and then adhere to the 14 quarantine measure!
with all but the supermarkets closed many will also be realising the money they waste and how easy it is to save for such things as a holiday! - I for one, like many I know will be up up and away at the first opportunity.
Just a thought crossed my mind today 're holiday
Spain are hoping for sometime in July but there will still be some restrictions
Where do dart stand if some stuff in the brochure is not possible and they get complaints because freedom is not possible when in the resort area ECT?
Now the French are implementing tit for tat quarrantine for UK and Spanish arrivals.

I just don't see the importance of travel right now a year out makes no odds to most
Travel hotels restrictions checks and the rest ain't on the menue
People want freedom and normality before making plans and the virus gone, then were off to the races , just don't ask me when
Your in dream world Hawk about demand why do you think PM said what he said did he say it just for fun get real
ATB anyway
Patel holding back the reins on Shergar , Dont tell the masses it ok to be OK yet its just not the right time. still looking for early july flying . Hawk, your right staff will be phased back but maybe you know that for sure but if not l will let you know when it starts. No l am not staff.
Patel hasn’t put the boot in. Come July, maybe even June, there will be reciprocal arrangements in place with other countries. If Jet2 were flying now then yes she would have put the boot in, but they aren’t and it’s still a good 5 weeks away minimum.
I personally think that early July was a very optimistic date and really expected something towards the back end of July.
As soon as Jet2 can fly again, there will be demand. I can absolutely guarantee you that bookings towards the end of summer and into Autumn are very healthy given the situation.
When things start again, there will be a gradual increase. You can’t just fly 50 aircraft on day 1. Staff need to be phased back in across all areas, aircraft and hotels need to be phased back in, but there is demand and the initial demand could outweigh the capacity to start with.
Have it your way the demand is low that's my understanding until next year petals put the boot in as well
For me it's not about holidays this year it's about getting the virus gone and doing whatever it takes for the safety of all leading up to winter and have a normal 21 year this year's half over already
That’s because they are working on three bad case scenarios with a worst case financial position at the end of it. In no way does it take into account demand. Bookings for the end of summer, winter and next summer are actually very good
Hawk for you
r it.

The money raised on the share issue removed the fear of imminent closure, hence the game changing move on the SP, however the next step is to try and value the share. If 20% more shares are in now in issue the all time high of approx. 2000p now drops to 1600p, given this year has already gone and is a bust that leaves a revaluation. somewhere between this price and 1200p over the next 12 months looks about right. (expecting a quick recovery is possible but unlikely as the level of redundancies within the UK workforce coupled with invariably higher taxes is going to restrict demand going forward. Still potential upside here but the downside case is that countries continue with regulations that make it difficult or expensive to resume normal flights for longer than is expected at the moment (For instance there seems to be a feeling that by July/August it will be pretty much ok to travel.) What if that does not happen and its pushed back till march 2021?
At present this govt does not seem to care about the cost of companies going bust, wither individually or to the greater , wider health of the economy, it is simply interested in "saving" the NHS.
After Petal tonight comments don't hold your breath not starting till the 8th also
And asked about the prospect of foreign holidays this summer, she added: "This is absolutely not about booking holidays. We want to avoid a second wave and that is absolutely vital."
Also your not allowed non a serial travel while FCO warning in place sounded downbeat on any prospect anytime soo maybe August time
Positively, and despite the considerable uncertainty, we are seeing customers still making bookings for late summer 20 and winter 20/21, with encouraging numbers choosing to rebook rather than cancel. In addition, and though very early, summer 21 bookings to date are very promising
Which comment is this ??
I have not seen anything to say demand won’t be there when Jet2 can start flying again in 6 weeks time
Maybe some cannot read an RNS ON HERE??
You can start all you want but demand is not there read PM comment on demand
Indeed and the share price not affected this is one tough cookie of a share.
Jet2 holidays pushed back until 1st of July just been announced, from the 17th June.
Imagine the global stock market will be in for a bumpy week ahead when Trump inevitably retaliates against China over HK. Also be interesting to see how positively or negatively Patel spins the quarantine message later. Long term IMO this stock will rise as it is a well run company and easily a better choice than the chaos ensuing at EasyJet!
