DQE Entertainment posted an 8.5 per cent rise in revenues for the last nine months of 2012 as the company received high ratings for its range of cartoon series. Revenues rose to $25.91m, up from $28.64m the previous year after the group signed licensing deals and expanded its portfolio with the production and distribution of shows including Peter Pan, Charlie Chaplin and Iron Man. A major contributor to revenues was the success of the 3D, CGI animated TV series The Jungle Book Season One, produced by DQE. The show aired in 165 countries across the globe and attracting more than 100 licensees worldwide across publishing, gaming, digital, apparel, accessories, home furnishings, back-to-school and Halloween. Key licensees and promotional partners include Burger King, Wal-Mart, Hachette, Toys R Us and Universal Music.
so low it's pitiful, about £8k. Looked over on DQE India - even more pitiful about £2k and they were even down 1%. I'm going to send round Sher Khan to sort somebody out soon, don't know who yet.
Of course lol Movie put back a I noticed later yeah. Ad campaign/merchandising still to start ramp up from summer though. Quite a lot of new series'being sold. Keep em coming. Should get SP back to a level where the movie will create some major boomage.. Same strategy.. add on the dips and make sure a wad is held for movie release :_
Noted The Jungle Book movie is due for release in early 2015. These shares are not going to get any cheaper. 30p real soon imo
i bet you're still in bed
for a bounce.. also need to factor in weak pound vs dollar.... that will also help us .. or ought to;
Slightly better. If Rupee keeps going up will make up for last yr losses on fx. During the quarter ended December 2012 there was a foreign exchange gain of USD 1.50 mn as compared to a gain of USD 0.70 for the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
How come you were posting at match time yesterday - don't you like Bale anymore? - lol
Solid set of results, exchange rate positive, the future looking a lot brighter than the current sp. Market to react favourably - I says so.
Out of interest. Rupee up 6.29% ytd. Since the 20% loss in exchange rate made a hole in the accounts in Dec. Just keep adding the dips. Summer ad campaign.. "Our foray into theatrical production with 3D Jungle Book Movie has taken wing with several top rated Hollywood talents on board" Just saying.. bottom drawer..don't forget about em ;)
correction... now is the time to buy! I hate tiny mobile keys!
Well I have been adding as I just cannot fathom the current share price and ultra low PE rating. I just do not see the share price falling much lower but admit it may take a while to move back up but as I said, not if the time to buy! GL
what are you doing? there's no time for posting...get back to your cubs;
You've been proved right from your Tuesday's post. Now let's hope it keeps moving up.
Couple of nice trades there. Keep saying but... Once that seller's done lol
Some good interest at last anyone aware or any further news?
coming, keep the volume coming... That's the biggest driver of this share...
Support1: 12.75 Support2: 10.61
I know an ADVFN member has admitted to selling his holding over the last few days which may explain the sp weakness. Really tempted to add as this level GL
Gets run down before major takeoff. Patience for Summer,as that will be a phenom if all goes to plan... Accounts should have made better use of Exchange rates ,agreed there.BUT.. Rupee making a very nice rebound,. Jan 3rd, Sun-Mate president Rami Ben-Moshe confirmed five new international distributor agreements with Hunter Leisure, Australia; Flash Toys in Latin America; Haka, New Zealand; Prima Toys in South Africa; and SMC Entertainment for Benelux. (International distributors in place.) Burger King starting promotions in summer for the Upcoming movie. Get em while they're on ice and sit back for the boomage ;)
What are the fundamentals like in your opinion ... I'm being lazy (small stake = don't care much) ... But as I see it this company is reporting comprehensive income losses relentlessly ... its also claiming to pay down debt, while the balance sheet (on casual inspection) shows debt rising ... all a bit puzzling IMO ... have you got a clear take on this share?
this has now become... To my knowledge, nothing has changed with this company we still have an order book most companies would be proud of and new products in the pipeline - yet still, we tickle up to the dizzy heights of 25p and now dripping down back into the sewers... I'm locked in here, which normally wouldn't be a problem, but I don't know what can be done to get this back to where it should be as it has all the fundamentals to be there already:(((
Bought £2k worth ealier today at just under 26p inc commission... As a fresh pair of eyes the last half year accounts looked awful ... but the second half has been better twice before, hoping that will still be the case this time? followed KNIGELK, just a punt GLA.
... bit concerned no pick up in India yet, think next results due are Indian subsidiary, atb Au
is a buy and is a payday top up. Not sure why the ask was lower than the mid price but there we go!
