At least the drop has enticed a couple of buys. Would be nice to see the directors buying in or news of some new contracts to stop the rot here.
Hi there, No need to apologies. IMO think you've highlighted the reality of the situation - Great company, but financially badly managed. Real shame. Thanks for your input. Atb Au
Hi Guys, Not invested here.... But, you are absolutely right the management dealt in Rupees without any hedging. Certainly one of the reasons i have not invested despite what appears to be a good business is IMO the management Of the business which appears to be on the light side and naive. Its not fishy as you state but a lack of basic business acumen and raises other question marks over the management of the business. Sorry to say it, but that is my honest opinion. GLA............. The prospects are there but whether they will be converted is another another question.
tbh don't fully understand myself, but I believe some of DQE's finances (such as production costs) are dealt with in Rupees, but financial reports are stated in US$. not sure of the full ins and outs (anyone else?). Au
As this company deals internaiionally and mainly in dollars I am still strugling to understand the exchange rate losses - it should have been a positive. The whole deal smells dsitinctly fishy to me.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-01-07/top-rupee-forecaster-predicts-10-rally-on-inflows-india-credit.html this should be good for us, only reason DQE didn't post a profit in last results was due to Rupee down against US$, atb Au
thanks, thought something was due feb, hopefully give us a little lift soon. atb Au
sounds about right, hopefully we'll do a little better than that. atb Au
Last year we had Indian update Feb, Quartely update March and prelims in May. There should be some news between these dates and I am comfortable that we will soon be at circa 32p and my year end projections would be circa 60p, whgich I think is realistic.
Based on last year, there seems to be an ops update as usual at the end of the financial year, and then the prelims around the end of May... Of course, I'm sure there'll be 100 RNS's in between, detailing further contract wins, new programmes in 3D, re-confirmations of the sectors' group leader and the SP will continue to stagnate around the early to mid 20s...
... on no trades or news? Anyone know when next update due? thnx Au
...as of Friday... atb Au
Hmm, small but sudden tick up... Au
Added another £5k at this crazy price
We are expecting an RNS in Feb 2013 with results up to 31 Dec 2012. SP should go up before then as from previous RNS this should show some good figures. This SP is crazy now.. just some patience.. GLA
fair enough mate, dam my indecision on the results, knew what i should have done when i had the chance, must react quicker on my gut! another lesson learnt the hard way! Atb Au
RSI now 9/100, surely unsustainable, where are those buyers?
Looks like you got yourself a bargain there. On paper these look very cheap but if you trawl there are dozens of undervalued shares about. This is on my short list aas a speculative punt. Nice small cap so any recovery should boost the sp quickly.
I know this as it was mine, paid 23.01
just added another £10k , bargain of the year
That's the problem though fella... The good news is there in abundance with DQE, but yet it still doesn't move upwards...!!!! What it needs is someone to buy shed loads and then - like sheep, everyone will follow...!!!
...RSI now at 13/100, just needs slightest good news to kick start volume and should see a recovery here, but needs that kick. GL & atb Au
I got more yesterday..some codes and odd little 1's at end of trades last few days.
And all is quiet... Maybe we need a bit of Bjork to kick DQE back into life... Normally this moves on very little volume, and today, we've had 2 trades and the price hasn't moved!!!! Is something afoot? Are we going to boom? Are we going to plummet? Or will we just stay as we are??!!!!!!! Wake me up, when December ends...!!!
...seems to be picking up again... http://www.traderscockpit.com/?pageView=symbol-analysis&company=DQ+Entertainment+%28International%29+Limited&symbol=DQE
