Well it maybe true in this case but I'm not going to take the risk, I sold out about 10 days ago, the shares price seems to have lost momentum anyway and in this market I will take some profits. Another share I was in Solid State, directors sold a lot in July/August, sp was about 875p, end of October it fell to under 400p before recovering to about 600p. They used similar reasons for selling.
Actually this time it was true. Polar capital bought all 14m the next day
Seen it too many times, it usually an excuse, they are hardly going to say anything bad are they?
http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=DOTD&ArticleCode=uw768yc6&ArticleHeadline=DirectorPDMR_Shareholdings Supposedly to satisfy strong demand from institutional investors and to settle the tax liability so nothing to worry about IMO
any ideas why?
Very promising.
Does look good here for further highs.
Very muted response to excellent figures. Probably because 11 million shares on the market and sold this am.
Anybody know why the high volume of trades today?
I agree. Good set of results with plenty of positive news for the future (additional sales offices in USA plus opening up in Austrialia) and yet the price doesn't move. Ok the good news was expected and therefore priced in but would have thought there would have been an uptick in the price given the fact sales should continue to grow strongly; especially from abroad; during the next financial year.
THIS SHARE ANNOYS ME .ALWAYS VERY GOOD RESULTS BUT THE PRICE CANT GET PAST 35P .THEN THEY GIVE OUT BONUS SHARES .FOR WHAT ?THE SHARE HOLDERS ARE MAKING NOTHING .YOURS SEVERLY ****ED OFFFFFFFFF. T K
...admittedly from 3 months ago but still topical & well worth a read... http://www.iii.co.uk/articles/232510/trio-aim-shares-your-isa
Sneaking back up again...34.45p to buy now :-)
Just as a Friday Afternoon speculative punt, at sub 31p...
http://wraltechwire.com/bronto-ceo-s-roar-on-why-he-sold-the-company/14601602/ I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet. Bronto is DM's direct competitor and the fact that Netsuite has purchased them is also great news. Both DM and Bronto have a strong route to market by working with channel partners most notably Magento. Netsuite recently acquired Venda, a Magento competitor which will create uncertainty particularly with existing Magento partners already using Bronto which DM could take advantage of.
All last 3 deals have been buys!
with this one. I do work with Dotmailer and they are growing quickly and safely. I would anticipate this to be a more long term project. I jumped out a few months ago as I'm looking at more short term gains. will be back in here if it dips to 30p again.
this has turned into…..I had hoped Simone’s plan might have been a bit more exciting than a share buy back. There’s 10 million in the bank, surely enough for the odd bolt on? The new sales office in Australia might help even the sales in the US office were fairly insignificant. The only positive is Slater Investments increasing their holding so they must have seen something
I'd like to know why please at this low price...asset preservation?...even more trouble ahead?
The Midas Effect....Woops! 32.5p to buy at the mo'.... Lots of selling... ...P/E's a tad high!! No real Dividend... Meh!
Fallen 25% since the buy announcement...what on earth is going on.... may buy a few if it falls to 30p
Hi - following the interim report on 23 Feb the SP has deteriorated. Not certain why such a fall when set against the markets recent rises but it does seem that the SP rose immediately following the Trading Report on 20 Jan - perhaps the market makers have already built-in growth and prosperity into the SP?
Hi to this board, I have just bought into DOTD at 37.7, im hoping it goes well and expecting good news from the results announcement on the 23rd. I will be reading all your posts, so it would be great if we share thoughts and times to sell / buy.
Well at one point the SP got up to 41.5p but ended about 5% up about average for the Midas recommendations, but even at this point it is worth a look. Next leg up will likely come 24th Feb when Simone Barratt outines her expansion plans for the company. I followed Slater Investments on this one and got in at 31p, so it’s been a good rise, but I think plenty more to come and I’m holding for the long term/
Hi shan & Johhny', 'Had my eye on these lads ages ago but never got in... The figures look good.... Be interesting to see the "Midas Effect" tomorrow ... Best regards, Blue
