Demonstrates new dynamics being introduced to Dods
Digital and print media company Dods has signed for space at The Shard. It has taken 16,875 sq ft of space on the 11th floor on a 10-year lease, and will move from its current base on Dartmouth Street. The deal is the third letting to be confirmed at The Shard this year, following digital marketing agency Jellyfish and luxury fashion retailer matchesfashion.com. It brings the number of occupiers to 28 businesses across 15 industry sectors, and the building’s office space to almost 90% let. Irvine Sellar: London Bridge becoming “epicentre” of London’s media industry Irvine Sellar, developer and co-owner of The Shard and vice-chairman of the REM consortium that brought forward the building, said: “Dods is a respected and highly trusted provider of intelligence within the political arena. “It joins a host of other publishing houses in the London Bridge area, which is quickly becoming the epicentre of capital’s media industry. “The Shard’s connectivity to both Westminster and the company’s clients was an important consideration, but the opportunity to be part of a busy and diverse office eco-system in a vibrant neighbourhood sealed the deal. “Interest in the remaining office space remains strong from an interesting mix of potential occupiers as we approach full capacity.” JLL and Knight Frank are leasing agents on The Shard. Morgan Price advised Dods.

They want your shares !
Either way I agree vtilla , must be a revenue stream for Dods !
Could or would a Brex-vote impact Dods earnings? In or out and how? I'm thinking more news, more intelligence likely to be positive either way as people seek out political info and advantage?
Judging by previous years it looks like mid June before we should expect an RNS ?
indeed... up over 125% in 12 months ! tip of iceberg in my humble opinion
....and a share unknown to most pi's, who if they had been aware of DODs and had bought, would be "over the moon" at how any investment here would have performed, and all with nary a whisper! Long may it continue.
Imho, definitely ... I'm encouraged by directors buying even Martin beck exercising his options on his way out ! Coupled with approaching end of year results... The directors in my opinion will at least expect to double if not treble their investment . I can see the sp reaching mid 20's within 6 months easily. As always DYOR etc 8-). Could do with a broker reccomendation any time soon
Markets shaken! Do you think Dods will buck the trend and continue up without some real news or data to justify price?
Totally agree, my enthusiasm getting the better of me I'm afraid ... But, looking at global digital politics opportunity from a revenue earning potential the rewards are huge for sure around the world !
Market for political intelligence considerably smaller than the world of news. Not a fair comparison with sky news if I may say so. I was thinking of expanding the business model globally, scaling up should be easy enough ie. growing operations in EU and US.
