Typo ....
Could be the next "sky news" of the politics world ???? Thoughts ?
Having read the articles below it make sense for Dods to penitrate the digital revolution gong on in the USA as well as the rest of the world !!!! Massive potential for sure ! IMHO DYOR
Thought I saw May time somewhere but don't recall where. Hazard a guess 3rd week onwards. I could be mixing it up with something else. Old age I'm afraid. Memory not quite what it used to be :(
When would you expect end of year accounts to be published ?
Good points ! Certainly lots to look forward to especially in view of recent activity , ceo quits but excersizes options on his way out , 2 directors buying etc
This is what I thought and still do at some level. Not sure however, if Dods will be bought out or it may choose to grow by acquisitions??? If one remembers how the entertainment industry went with buy outs and mergers in late 90s and early 2000s no reason why digital media and publishing industry should not follow a similar course. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-pearson-m-a-financialtimes-idUSKCN0PX0YM20150723 I suspect Nikkei probably more interested in the prestigious name Financial Times than the newspaper print business. Dods is indeed a classy name and brand in a niche market with little competition and much potential. http://www.dodsgroupplc.com/ Someone will soon realise politics and business combined can produce good information that can be sliced, diced and priced and information duly sold for premium. imo really have to wait to hear about eoy accounts before reaching any conclusions. It could just simply be better than expected positive earnings after all the political activity and robust UK performance. Holding for more upside. Much more upside. I'm looking forward to 2018 and 2020 even :)
on a possible takeover ?
Did anyone see the BBC news today regarding ICU ? Concerning sleep deprivation ? They are concerned with the noise and interruption of the recovery of patients. They are at present doing a study at Oxford. His seems to be a golden opportunity to promote Proxima 3 and 4 ......do you agree?
For another tick up today ! Buys showing as sells ?
should be an interesting build up to end of year results....

Following this transaction, she holds a total of 5,165,000 ordinary shares in Dods representing approximately 1.5 per cent. of its issued share capital.
Welcome ! Thank you for the informed post !
DODS are in a rather specialist niche business and few peeps have ever heard of them. It's only a matter of time before the word spreads and many more new investors will be looking to buy here....very much a case of "success breeds success". Level 2 shows 5 mm's, each with only 10k shrs on each side of the bid/ask. Obviously there is more stock in the background, hence the 50k at 12.95p at 0952hrs was not at a premium. But....when that slack is taken up, stock may well become quite tight. NMS is 10,000 shrs - hence the mm's are keeping a tight rein....not unexpected when over 80% of total shares in issue are held by the over 3%'s. gla!
Exactly ! Over 5 million the good lady owns !
Cheryl Jones takes a holding (also chairman of former BCB)
Recent buy @ 11.4p. I reckon he will at least be expecting to double if not treble his money ! Thoughts anyone ?
