Amala Foods PLC - Jersey-based food technology firm formerly known as BigDish - Says it is preparing to distribute its plant-based food products in the US and it is in talks for the acquisition of a rare earths exploration company in Africa. Amala says is undergoing a regulatory process to allow its products to be distributed in the US. "Should this be successful, management expects this to be a major market opportunity for the company," Amala notes.
In addition, Amala says that it has signed a term sheet with Terra Rara UK Ltd, which has majority interests in three rare earths projects across Angola and Uganda.
Director Aidan Bishop comments: "We also have a potential complete transformation and pivot opportunity subject to successful due diligence and future regulatory approval by the FCA with regards to a key and globally strategic arena in the Rare Earths sector.
"Rare Earths Elements are becoming a geo-politically important area given China's present dominant position on these resources. We anticipate those companies with exposure to these important assets will command ever increasing strategic premiums in future years and the opportunity to be involved in this area is very exciting."

Good riddance to sellers selling sellout. Hopefully good week next week.
Very quiet today. Peeps chasing other rainbows. Very undervalued here. Hopefully next week we should see this start moving.
It appears to me that the potential upside here has gone completely unnoticed. In my opinion I believe the company is approaching the closing stages of the 30 day DD period now and once the SPA is signed the stock will re rate immediately above a penny if not higher. I think the sceptics who possibly didn't believe the deal are now out and will explain why the stock is at 0.6p and not trading significantly higher. The finance is all in place to secure this deal and on confirmation you will not get chance to get in!

The Company has executed an updated term sheet with improved terms that is subject to the execution of a definitive agreement. The terms set out in the term sheet will provide current shareholders with 30% of the enlarged Company. Based on the current number of outstanding shares and the new FCA requirement of a minimum market capitalisation of £30 million for new listings that came into force on 3 December 2021, if successful, this provides a "see through" valuation of approximately ((2p per share)). The Company can confirm that it is also working with known funding partners who have committed, subject to satisfactory due diligence, to provide the funding for the transaction, at the valuation above, in sync with Terra Rara vendors.
Alliance News: Amala Foods PLC - Jersey-based food technology firm formerly known as BigDish - Discussions with Terra Rara UK Ltd continue and it has executed an updated term sheet upon which a definitive agreement will be based. Amala Foods terms with Terra Rara will provide shareholders 30% of enlarged company.
Was short lived
Pump dump delete you are the epitome of uneducated investors/"traders". This is NOT aim, its MAIN MARKET listed hence the valuation. One of the first things you should learn as an investor is to do your research. If you don't even know the basics how to you expect people to take what you post seriously. The value here has nothing to with what's gone before, it's the main market listing they're after.
Align bought in at 0.30 sold down on first spike, see TR1. Contrary to what some thought they weren't dumping the remainder today but trying to buy more. I'd say this bodes quite well
This is worthless why would they pay 10million (30%) to existing shareholders of something that isnt worth jack
Do not fall for the latest con
