The company's Vigilant LED High Bay boasts a "milestone" 125 lumens per watt (LPW) and provides 26,500 delivered fixture lumens. It also utilizes cutting-edge optical and electrical design to provide for significantly reduced glare and superior light distribution. It comes with Dialight's 10-year, full-performance warranty for more than a decade of reliable, worry-free performance, says the company. The LED high bay is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications in industrial environments. Dialight says its new Vigilant LED High Bay marks a major step forward in the future of energy efficiency for industrial environments. Since launching its first LED high bay in 2009, Dialight has sold hundreds of thousands of LED high bay fixtures, setting the highest standard for fixture design and reliability around the world. "Dialight continues to manufacture the most advanced LED lighting solutions for industrial and hazardous location applications worldwide," said Roy Burton, Dialight's group chief executive. "Our customers can now benefit from an additional 25 percent energy savings, making the conversion to LED technology an even smarter business decision with highly attractive payback periods for their facility upgrades." The Vigilant LED High Bay fixture is currently certified to UL1598/A and CSA 22 #250 for both indoor and outdoor applications, and will soon be available with CE compliance, UL844 and ATEX/IECEx for hazardous locations as well as other international certifications. At 18 pounds, the 100-277VAC Vigilant LED High Bay ships standard with 6kV surge protection and is IP66/NEMA4X rated to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -40 degrees C to +65 degrees C. U.K.-based Dialight is a global provider of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions for industrial and hazardous areas, as well as transportation and infrastructure applications.
Bought in here a few days ago as a medium/long term investment. LED lighting is getting more and more popular, and so there is a growing market. Despite the recent setbacks, the company still makes money and is actively going out to get more business, growth will return here unless the management make a total balls up. Always the chance of a take over at these prices too.
thot i might regret coming out @789p yesterday.
730.50 to sell ?
Yes -----good to see it did not go sub £6.00 --- Bought in @ £6.28 , so feeling happier now -----GLA.
Nice to see some recovery from earlier on today - hopefully people counting like me on this year's profit figure being a blip in an the long-term upward trajectory.
After the recent director buys it seems suprising that todays trading update shows continued revenue/profit issues. A fall today of 26% (at this moment) is a big suprise and shows how tough things are getting. Cash flow has halved within a year.
No need to say what i'm thinking , i expect you all think the same ? ---------If todays level breaks then 550 p ( perhaps 600 briefly ) beckons -------------GLA.
Recently bought into this at 856. Seems like the LED market will get bigger and bigger over the next few few years and with DIA's strong products and the recent investment in sales personnel, I am hopeful of some solid long-term growth. Bargain? My feeling is that the 550 drop in share price post - Sept is an overreaction. Previous momentum seems to have stalled as a result of the delay in the major obstruction lighting contract however, assuming this is resolved, I am quietly confident this will lift off in 2014.

Looking back at the graphs I notice that these shares go up quite substantially every January to March quarter, obviously partly influenced by the upcoming results and dividend. I've averaged down twice now so hoping for an improvement this quarter!
From Ftse 250 straight into Ftse All Share -passed thru' the Ftse 350 without as much as a "hello " or " goodbye ". !!--- don't know where this one's going in the immediate short term ? -- closed my position for a small profit again( more luck than judgement) -- I think i will wait now until at least 900 p is broken. -- But VGLA if you're in for the longhaul. -----
I'm actually running a small profit now !!!
Seems you are right, talk about feeling like I've been bent over and stripped naked!!! 60p swing, tragic!
Shorters are exploiting your use of stop-losses to get your shares on the cheap. Don't use automatic stop losses unless you want to be taken out!
Yeh, i knew it would happen--- Lowered my Stoploss last night to try and beat the drop on open ----took me out @ 791 this morning -----Went straight back in but running a catch-up loss now . Know how you feel exactly. GL to you and merry xmas to all.
Never ceases to amaze me how the market always manages to screw you. Targets never seem to get hit but then gaps down taking you out & always just a few pence lower before taking the SP back up! Thanks market, happy Christmas!
I mean 835.5 not 335.5 --apologies.
I did find "the guts " to go long @ 830 p .
Guys . i think you're spot on , my account says 335.5 p close ---will drop straight thu' my stop at open !!! If it's going out of Ftse 250 then 250 Tracker Funds will have dropped it . Going to be difficult short-term for DIA . Sub 800 p looks likely now ? But GLA and have a merry xmas what ever happens here.
I believe the ftse re-shuffle comes into effect on the 23rd so maybe this the reason behind afterhours sp drop . Mind I could be wrong ! Lets hope for a better result after Xmas
Could the drop be due to funds re-aligning there position`s due to Dialight dropping out of ftse 250 ?
My spread bet account suggests this closed at 838! So this dropped 25p after close???!!! Nice !
seems there is no end to fall with this at the moment....despite the directos buying in at 900+
