Hi guys. I'm just trying to work out what the directors holdings are. I've looked at the 'Directors' deals' on here but what I'm looking for is - have any directors actually bought shares out of there own money? Not 'exercise of options'. Thank you everyone and good night for now. Ste
450p, i will double my holding at 200p if the opportunity arises
Good evening steelo and badger. I absolutely agree, this is a great business doing very well and focussing on returning to shareholders. Whats not to like? If i read the fundamentals and had to guess the P/E ratio i would be certain of a 15-25 range compared to the now under 9. I guess if you were a pessimist and felt debt was a touch high 15 would be appropriate but the business is growing. I feel certain this will break above the current 52 week high and set a new all time high; in the mean time im happy to accumilate a juicy dividend. ATB
Hi soleman1. Exactly the same as oldbadger here. Very sure things will turn our way over time. Again, I don't normally average down but I am here. It's 50% of my sipp now and I'm pretty relaxed about things. I think it's a great share, Dfs are in great shape and sooner or later, We'll get a great return. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Ste
Thanks for that soleman1. I wasn't sure what the significance was of the big trades after the closing bell. Like yourself while not happy with the drop, I'm perfectly at ease holding here for as long as it takes to deliver a reasonable return. I'm not big on averaging down and I don't believe that's what I'm doing but if it keeps dropping I will buy more. D.
The buy/sell status of late reported trades is often incorrect as its marked vs current price so large late reported buys on a down day may well be sells. The fundamentals here are exceptional, if people want to sell now thats fine ill make my position a little bigger. Im very comfortable sitting on these 😉
Hi badger, Can you buy another million in the morning please? I just feel like something is going on, looking at the trades. I would have thought that due to the big eyes at end, we should open at that price in the morning. Also, if you look at the disparity between buys and sells, I'm suprised we're not blue. I think I'm just trying to make myself feel better with conspiracy theories !
Sorry about posting twice boys me n' technology not that well acquainted. D.
Sorry to let you down Steel. I tried my best today guys, l bought another million of the bloody things and they still went down !!!!!!! Most of the shares in my portfolio have went from profit to loss in the last 2 weeks. Only HSBA & LGEN have left money in the purse. I'm not sure if this is a proper market correction however everything is down this week so maybe it is. I've got 4000 of these and I'm definitely not taking a loss. So the Badger will be here for a while me thinks. D.

Yes steello big buys on another subject my biggest fear is pi and shareholders get caught in market correction re usa ect hopefully will never happen dfs is sound company thats why i bought GL
Hi smokey17, Yes I've just seen that too. Big buys, more buys than sells and still we're down. I'm wondering whether the price is being managed and we'll get a massive trade going through in a day or 2. I think the mm's have up to 3 days to report trades. I'm only a novice but something doesn't look quite right. I'm probably talking rubbish but it gives me hope the price may change direction.
Yes steello also another at 16.36 for 600k well somebody putting up serious dough takes nerve or maybe they know something hopefully bounce tomm
Evening gents. Oh dear, I leave you alone for the day and what have you done? On a plus note, somebody's just bought £515.49k at 4.25. It always reassures me when somebody throws a large amount like that in. My portfolio looks like a display by the red arrows at the moment. Here's hoping for a blue day tomorrow. Ste
Wow thats some loss ob haveing said that the only time i have lost money in shares is when i sold in panic ect only to watch shares go back up but i have put stop loss in at 205p thats my limit im prepered to loose atm ALB
Don't think I've the nerve to be a fund manager. The £60 mill. trade last week is showing a £6mill. paper loss right now. Eye watering to say the least. The drop though hardly deserved, has created a much greater interest in dfs. We'll be over a thousand trades and probably a million shares traded today. This is a considerable increase on what it was before the drop. Think I've read somewhere" that shares can go up as well as down. Mr mm we've had the down wee bit up now perchance. D
Yes steello wish i had held off to today but i dont think its anything to do with dfs most of market is down its wider issues that are hurting most pi imho
Thanks for the info. I'm working in not so sunny Manchester all day today so I'll have a browse when I get home. In the mean time, if you can arrange for the share price to go in the others direction, I'd appreciate it. I think this will pick up when people realise the value here. All the best everyone Ste
Understand oldbadger cheers will check later
Final reports and accounts available. WWW.dfscorporate. Co.UK I always prefer to get fundamentals from horses mouth. As usual its a multi page doc. D.
Ok you guys managed to find fundamentals ect on yahoo finance looks like 66million in bank and 209 million debt reported last quarter debt bit high but there you go think this is correct
yes oldbadger you were lucky there well done some pi must be sitting on massive losses luck and timeing you need both in share dealing strange when i click on fundamentals above nothing shows up for dfs to check cash in bank and debt ect good luck with biff ALB
Sorry Steello off topic. Smoke I haven't given up on biffa just yet. Half yearly results out 30th Nov. The only figure I'm interested in is cash in bank. Be interested to see if they were able to hold on to any of the ipo money. Apologies again steellol. D.
Yes Smoke That 100,000 trade plus a few other big trades at or around the 290p mark happened a day or two after the final results rns. The price didn't stay there for long though it drifted down to 230s within a few weeks. I first got in at 242p then sold later at 265p I was very lucky really because within a few days of me selling the ii to ii trade was announced, knocking the share for six. I've no specific target price in mind before I decide my next move on here, I'm happy to take my £300 divi. at year end and see where we are. D.
Thank you steello and oldbadger would be nice to see bit of bounce today yes oldbadger biff not doing much these days just considering selling there at moment hard to belive some pi paid 290p here just over a month or so ago thats some fall. anyway good luck guys ATB
