DP - don't worry Deltic is in very good hands. Through the Selene deal the Board has reassured all stakeholders that a similar deal will be agreed over Pensacola. As you say once we get to drilling, and its not far away now, the real excitement will start!
Yes! Yawn, yawn, we need news!
Anyway, it will be an eventful year when the drills start this summer. Exploration is a grind, but will pay off for those long!
Dry wells highly unlikely at this stage.
Stagnant again. Time for another announcement MR Swindells.
OK thanks. Today, sp back in limbo/waiting for news, it seems. Let's see, the day is not over, but I think we really need the Pensacola funding to be sorted before we see sustained upwards momentum. 2 successful drills will then build on that for the rest of the year.
If buying volume pick up to 1,000,000 plus this is the next resitance price of 41p will be finding the new market value 41p or higher imo
This doesn't help!!

Djm, presumably an RNS with another funding announcement will create a step upwards change on the day or immediately after, then continue on the chart trajectory you can see? Just wondering, I am not a chartist, but interested in your view on the next leg after 41p, with/without the funding announcement. Thanks
41p resistance could see a buying pressure to have a new leg up
DP - I completely agree. Until there are revenues coming in from the oil flowing, hopefully, any price-guessing is going to be speculative, But, the upside potential is phenomenal. A good quote based on the varying prices people have paid is "a rising tide floats all boats!" So fingers crossed.
I will be mega-surprised if we see 20p again. But another quote from Warren Buffet is: "Be Fearful when others Are Greedy & Greedy when others are fearful."
Getafgrip: hear hear!
My average is above 50p.
Do I believe that's good value? hell yeah!
Am I irritated that I didn't pay 20p for all of them? hell yeah!
Do I believe Delt or others manipulate the market or carry out fraudulent activities against small PIs? No, absolutely not!
If you have bought Deltic shares at a price that you are not happy with there is actually only one person that you can blame!
The question you need to ask now is, when you apply all of your no doubt vast knowledge of share dealing, "would I buy them today?" If you would not simply sell them!
A constant litany of "poor me" & how you are being swindled by Deltic is not constructive & achieves nothing!
Dream on djm as long as the rinse and repeat skim skim day traders are here this will never climb and hold ,i expect after the rise to 39 and fall this back from skim skim this may bounce with a few buys but only to rinse
Deltic should carry on to 80p on currnent news
Djm, I tend to agree with you, but the fear factor is out there. For Delt, the big fear is/has been the funding situation. Clearly this is being sorted, I have 100% faith in the next deal being done soon. So we will soon have 2 fully funded drills on the go. If it goes well (good chances due to very high confidence in the geological data), then the long awaited re-rating should hopefully be well underway. Let's not forget, we are still just below 2p in pre-consolidation money. We are more progressed now than when the shares were 4p back then (equal to 80p now).
200p is a stretch short term no doubt, but we should defintely be well above 100p after (fingers crossed) 2 good drills.
Yes and I see Kier stated that oil and gas will be needed for decades to come at a speech in Scotland over the weekend 😀
This is backed by big influnce shell so this will be policical protected i believe they have funding set out and drills so nothing will change that now and ture value willbe determined. Labour and consertative serve the same so not much will effect the outcome who gets in
Caesar: as soon as we do a 1 for 5 share consolidation, otherwise probably never.
Patience, we are almost back to the level (40p) from the previous consolidation. And until Labour put more meat on the bones of their energy strategy, the market will hold back on the entire UK continental shelf industry. The Socialists have always been great snipers but poor on providing detail (now what was their strategy during Brexit?).
As soon as there is peace in the Middle East .
Star right. What is your considered time scale to reach SP of 200p as a guess?
Starmer already seems to bend whichever way the wind blows. Killing oil & gas sounds good on the campaign trail though!
But the reality is likely to be very different. Is he going to choke off a profitable sector of the economy that is just starting to show promise again? Is he going to kill off skilled highly paid jobs? Is he interested in energy security? Is he interested in the balance of payments? Is he satisfied to import exactly the same commodities from abroad? Is he happy to leave a major valuable resource unsold in the ground as everyone moves to happily produced electricity that doesn't harm anyone? Is he willing to waste the major investments taking place right now!
Also what does he say to Shell as the UK's biggest company, which domiciled here from January 2023, because killing North Sea investment was certainly not part of the agreement with the UK Government.
Deltic may not see itself as ultimately being a much different company. At companies House Deltic is classified as Standards Industrial Classification (SIC) "Code 06200 - Extraction of natural gas." They are widely known as an Oil & Gas exploration company but prominently on their website they describe themselves as: "Deltic Energy Plc is an AIM-listed natural resources investing company."
Deltic is more safe now. Labour will scrap £28 billion to fight climate change so North Sea companies will start to fly soon.
Benji, it's a valid point you raised. Sadly, the UK politicians put their noses in business. Oil&gas, banks etc. etc.
With premier african mineral and kodal mineral valued at 80m to 100m i would safly say this should re rate to this value diffent sector but both looking for the production stage
Sorry if it’s already posted, but couldn’t see it on last couple pages of messages.
