I expect Dark to rise back to 595 p at least early next week
Then maybe a massive drop after the No vote … just kidding I think
Only 3 million shares or so on Friday ( nothing out of ordinary )
If we see a day over 8 or 10 million shares then that’s a signal
Sooner or later - we will likely be out of Dark
So far liontrust seems to being well , huge dividends too coming likely 8/10 per cent yearly maybe relatively safe
Any other ideas welcome , china shares funds also have done well , although retraced in past 10 days or so
Uk any ideas of sure 10 to 25 per cent in next 12 months ?
Short not long replies on each share
I expect to exit Dark at 820 p !
I wonder how many lost with stop loss … or bought with limit price
If a take over bid at higher price is coming - surely by June the 7 th or ideally May 31 at … maybe around June 4 th in the middle for a higher bid
Wishful thinking - but not impossible
The huge blip today to 550 p or so is amazing , and yes sterling strength … incredible
Where’s the Cavalry ? Or the white Knight in shining armour or the no vote :):)
The Court Meeting precedes the General Meeting on the same afternoon of 18th June
Clued, lol, as long as it's not trapped wind, as it always finds an exit route, just like shorter's !!!
So we had a few minutes mayhem between 15:29:25 and 15:32:11 when we fell off a cliff without a parachute and returned with a 007 jet pack attached. Around ~350 trades out of ~1900 for the day went through, circa 20%, vast majority 'A' with book value circa £1.6m out of daily ~£16m, circa 10%. How many shorter's took the opportunity and closed out then along with others, opened longs I wonder. Strange trading action for sure but then we get to expect it with DARK !
Good BH weekend all ....
aimo & dyor
NewKOTB, hope any wind brings a much higher bid !!
Probably pack attack by shorter's to get themselves out of a sticky situation, esp if they have wind of another player joining the party.
aimo & dyor
MarkBellUK, thanks, so missed out on even more !! Happened so fast and thoughr maybe the T/O was cancelled and then looked at RNS's and by then the price had risen again !! Then came on here to verify things !!
😂😂that would be grand!
Clued it touched 552.1
20questions, wonder if another bid is coming ?!!🤣🤣🤣
There is some big players jostling for positions. Price went bonkers and triggered a stop loss for me. Back in now but lost 180 quid
20questions, hard luck, I rarely use Stop Losses for the reason you gave. That big drip explains what I saw so !! Didn't buy as wondered if the T/O was cancelled !!
Vanguard hoovering up Blackrock short
Just had my comments taken down???
Sorry all, looks like the ii app is malfunctioning. My lowest price today shows 552p, but on LSE here shows 590p. I even started the Trade option and the price showed 565p !! I've noticed some other odd prices for other shares also which don't correspond with their daily graphs. So Beware others who use ii app whose prices come from Morningstar (who I don't trust) !!!
Did vanguard just buy a load or sell??? RNS suggest buy. Price just dipped massively and shot back up. Just lot 180 quid where it triggered my stop loss. 😡😡😡
Now it has recovered to c 2% down ? I have ii ap, wonder did I just miss an opportunity to buy in the 560's ?!!!
DARK down over 5% ??
Sterling up 1.6% this month against the dollar …… let’s hope the upward trajectory continues
From the 23rd May 202 7:00 am RNS Scheme of arrangement
"The hearing of the Court to sanction the Scheme is currently expected to be held in the third or fourth quarter of 2024, subject to the prior satisfaction or waiver of the other Conditions set out in the Scheme Document."
The timetable for the Court Meeting and General Meeting shows they are to be held on the afternoon of 18th June 2024. The Court Hearing date isn't set yet and the comment says "As soon as reasonably practicable after the satisfaction or waiver of Conditions 3(a) to 3(g) (set out in Part A of Part III(Conditions to and further terms of the Acquisition and the Scheme) of the Scheme Document ("D")(4)
All other dates follow on from the 'D' date; D+1, D+2 etc. as look as though this will be concluded on D+3.
Curious as to what the conditions are and to get an idea of how long the may take to be satisfied I looked in the Recommended Cash Offer of 26th April 2024 for; 3(a) to 3(g) (set out in Part A of Part III(Conditions to and further terms of the Acquisition and the Scheme) of the Scheme Document but can find them.
There is section 3 General Conditions which goes up to 3.18 but no 3(a) to 3(g).
I've skimmed but not read all of section 3.
My question goes out to those with knowledge or experience of these matters and is how long does it take to get the Court Hearing after approval at the General Meeting?
Could this complete in June or are we like they say looking at third or fourth quarter and it dragging on until December?
Forget this just name ok , of other shares but not too much information
