Chinese New Year seems to have a historical effect on BTC. "Real Shock Reason Behind The Sudden $200 Billion Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP And Solana Price Surge?". Great quarterly update from CLSK last night. Should propel it higher along with BTC uplift and good prospect for all large miners. BKKT took a whack though!
"Largest Bitcoin Miner Explains Why Bitcoin Will Explode" Check Youtube for for this title with an interesting interview with Marathon boss.
@Pedro, hope you did and got a good price. If you believe in the stock then buy on the lows, peeps forget the time to buy is on the downside not upside when MMs are selling.
@Sinter, for me the miners follow BTC dominance not lead it, but there beta outperform BTC. I don't know what depth of market and liquidity charts you use but $38k was on the cards from a while back. It also looked like $36k was a possibility but did not come to fruition yet. More offers to the upside for the moment. Need to keep an eye on IBIT & FBTC to see what effect they have if any on BTC. Must admit concentration has been elsewhere and on HE1 this last week, with a small punt going well.
What we saying chaps and chappesses, is this near the lows and last opportunity to buy this cycle, before lift off?
If miners lead BTC, then we should know soon enough, forecast I’m following for final downside to conclude structural support means we should turn up with next 3 weeks.
Good shout Jinkar, I might join you with a top up average down
@bull, I am going to wait until Tuesday/Wednesday, possibly longer to buy more. I want to see how the Grayscale sell off goes. Short term could possibly fall further which is good if you want to trade. It is a volatile ETF which tracks very volatile BTC miners. Get your timing/trading right up or down you can make money. If you are long DAGB then I struggle to see how we can't make money on the back of BTC rising this year. Scarcity is BTC's and our friend. GLA
Bought some today £4.40

If BTC gets back to $38k or closer to $32k, this should be our last chance to accumulate here in this cycle. Have cash to top up here, KR1, GST and SILG should we get backtests to structural support levels.
@bom, Yep it's crypto miners. Let's see where we are at the end of the year. If your comfortble trade it along the way. Rising BTC trend volatility is a positive traders best friend.
Rapid fall too!!

🪙💷🪙💷 Good time to join@sleeps. ETFs approved now it's time to sit back and watch the show. Will be interesting with the ups and downs but if your bullish on BTC then the miners give you that Beta.
I've been holding a number of Bitcoin mining stocks individually such as MARA, ARB, IREN, SDIG, WULF (most since end of 2020) but have also recently jumped into this ETF for the tax-free ISA benefit and think all the holdings are strong with a big focus on miners.
GLA.
Stock selection is for people with lots of time on their hands, these constituents sprint differing paces at different times, this bull market is a marathon not a sprint. Nice to catch every rise, owning them all in one ticker, while getting on with life.

Hopefully a nice jump out the gate later on.
Exciting week ahead….

Looks like things are back a bit more on an even keel now, Miners took a haircut dodgy analyst predicted NO ETF 's will be approved BTC market over reacted.
💩... Looks like the miners got ahead of themselves and similar to what happened in the summer. BTC dropping.
Not really. BTC up, BTC miners up following a down last trading day. Maybe we catch up later......hope so. Never know what is going on in the background.
I bought into this instead of ARB as it’s supposed to be less of a risk. ARB up 20% today. This should definitely be up because all miners are. Am £800 down instead. It also appears to have tracked the rise in miners previously… Has a miner gone bust or something? Holding, and hope it sorts itself out.
Jafall, we track the USA bitcoin miners so not cryptocurrency directly. However, that said all the miners are up in the USA , yet we have fallen 11%...this I don't understand !!
Jin, I was convinced this would rise into US opening ...garden it is. Ant thoughts why we are not mirroring the US underlying stocks ?
Why do I feel like I've been missold this ETF?
Why would it be 8% down when it suppose to track the cypocurrency?
Not happy at all!
Looks like Birmingham will be too much. Have to settle in back garden :)
