Perhaps after todays RNS
Is that a dead parrot a la Monty Python?
Rapid fall too!!
thanks ***en39
i am in australia so dapp is what is traded on the asx. i returned to oz after 35 yrs in edinburgh. no such thing as isas in oz but one can have self managed superannuation funds. i note with sadness the recent decrease in cgt allowance in the uk, here cgt is at one's marginal tax rate unless the asset is held for > 12 mths when it is halved. anyway dapp.dapg is flying and still has some way to go if the dapg bb is a relaible guide. a couple of years ago it was us$20 so lets hope it reaches that level again!
The recent fall form circa 9.5 to 6.02 was not in my mindset with the top up in the low 9's only 6 or so trading days ago. But thats AIM. It could reverse the trend just as quickly. But it is painfully annoying!!
Agree and disagree! One cannot argue that a 70% increase in one day is not a strong reaction to the recent news. One has to remember that this is AIM and some caution is required. As you state one only has to look back at the many spikes in ZIOC share price over the last 10 years (and extreme lows) neither of which were justified but this is AIM (I remember one memorable evening many years ago when I made $40k selling on a spike to 25p. I was in a hotel in lovely small town called Merimbula, south coast NSW, whilst on a trip to Oz from Scotland). The resource is also in a far off land with a tenuous respect for law, order and commercial agreements - this undoubtedly had delayed investment decisions by multinational mining firms (the resource would have been developed years ago if it was in Oz).. One thing that has also been impressive for an AIM company is the management. The dilution over many years has been minimal compared to some disastrous AIM companies I have previously dabbled in. Additionally, as other commentators have noted, the management discretion in forgoing 65% of their remuneration is very impressive. This action suggests, despite the many hurdles, that remain, the 'finish' line for ZIOC is probably approaching. Like others I have also taken the opportunity to complete my 'top up' after todays retrace to 9p. I believe a steady rise is likely over the next few weeks until more news hopefully electrifies the share price.
The monty python team would no doubt raise spirits by pointing out that if GKP was paid by the Kurdish Authorities for only 50% of the oil they produce (I am not sure of the correct figure) then currently they are realising the pseudo-equivalent of $60/barrel
How much lower it will go is anyone's guess.
anyone trade this as a BTC proxy?
Agree bushy Tail.
I fortunately and luckily sold out yesterday when the fall in SP suggested impending bad news. I will rebuy in about 3 days time when the bad news has settled into the share price
Realitbites
Thanks for the reference to the PFC bonds. The chart is intresting, after a low of 53 in late march they have recovered to around 66 after a peak of 71 a few days ago. That is a 24% increase. I am not sure about volumes but the 9%. spread is offputting, especially with a 200k minimum outlay. I share you caution but bought some today.
Seems I called this wrong and missed the chance to top up my holding.
the market suggests entry levels will be lower in a couple of days.
Salary and component inflation is the problem
In and out over the years losing my hard earned cash. More recently up AUD$40k at 26p. Did not sell. Another hard lesson and I never learn!! Oh well, back to my bush hideaway in the outback on the Bombala river. Beautiful country.
26p to 14.5p suggests it is not just the markets
That should not be too hard given the share price is currently in freefall.
This is an unbelievably bad deal.
I cannot think of any company lawyer, or businessman, that could even conceive such a crazy contract.
The market reaction sums it up.
The deal is so opportunistic for the buyer, others may want to counterbid. But hey there is a war on so it may well take some time unless one is a poor oligarch looking to make a quick rouble.
Only those in the asylum could vote for this.
do you know something worthwhile?
Ii would be happy with 1 glen share for every 100 zioc!!
LKH - an interesting character. Sometimes posts on FT discussions
Wonder if he is still on the bridge (of his presumed yacht)?
Luck counts
I note your comments re Serica (SQZ)
In comparison to HBR SQZ is extremely well run, and has no debt. It was indeed very undervalued.
