Great news, sale completed
Hitting new highs for 2017 today. Commodities back in favour with GS upgrading sector. Base metals/energy flying this morning.
All shares will consolidate after suspension early december. This deal was done last year already.
Is that going to be reduced by 20 to 1 same as the share consolidation. If it doesnt then thats a hell of a load of option compared to the 130 million shares that will exist AFTER the consolidation.
Cash flows from operating activities = a loss of 1.5 mil dollars. So much for the cash generator.
Your CFD holding should be adjusted accordingly.... typically the CFD company will have bought the shares to cover your long position. If they dont do so you will be making a shed load of money surely?! The price will be going through the roof ;0)
Ok so I have both shares in a share account and also some that I trade on CFD platform (holding for ages) Firstly Am i right to say that generally the shares I hold in my share account will be consolidated, rerated and trading again on the 7th December under their consolidated SP? And secondly anyone advise me what happens with CFD holding? This sounds like a moment of losses coming up!! Thanks for any experience or insight into this.
They aim to re-brand and re-market the company. As has been said already, numerous fund, institutions and private investors won’t invest in penny stocks and this is a smart move. They want to improve liquidity in the stock and can do this by getting more counter parties involved. 2.5-3.25 or worse is a massive spread. If the company continue to deliver then there’s no reason for share price to go down, and certainly no need to panic because of suspension. My only caveat is that it’s easier to see a re-rating from 2.5p to 10p then a move from 50p to £2
At present the Companys shares are listed on three stock exchanges, the ASX, LSE and JSE, listings that arose from the Companys history. Maintaining all three listings is unnecessarily costly and we shall consider whether this can be rationalised without adversely affecting our shareholders
sandhopper that is indeed the flipside....agreed. but keep in mind this is a different company these days. all the best
So they will eventually get relisted on AIM under a different name?
With the greatest respect to you Jantand, then I think we will see the market start to reduce the "new" share price after consolidation within months, possibly within weeks. It has happened to every company share I have held that has followed the consolidation route, so I don't see it will be any different here - only time will tell. Anyway, the company has to get the "big boys" to vote in favour of this move first, but I expect Mr Brown has already sounded them out on this point, and we will see it happen.
I think the idea is to try and attract institutions that are not allowed to or cannot or will not invest in penny stocks. The value wont be affected. This together with the name change is a marketing ploy and with all the good coming in the next 12 months is in my opinion a masterstroke. A new cga . Makhado coming on. Possible vele sale...My opinion. The suspension is standard practice .happens when you change name or change ratio of shares ( consolidate). Also 2.8bn shares floating around is not good we all could agree on that. Now try 150million give or take a few and at 20 times current sp? If you have 100 at 2p now you will have 5 at 40p.
Hi, I hold CZA shares and trade them on AIM, but I have just read in the recent AGM announcement that: "The Company notes that it is likely that its securities will be suspended from trading on AIM while the CoAL shares will trade on a deferred settlement basis on ASX and JSE, as set out in the indicative timetable detailing key events post the Annual General Meeting: Can some explain what that means exactly What will happen to my holding? Will they be relisted on AIM under a different name? How can I trade after the suspension takes place?
And a consolidation on a 1 for 20 basis. Loyal shareholders screwed again as consolidation usually results in a lower value overall...let us see ifvMC Mining can perform any better than CZA.
Name change from Coal Of Africa to MC Mining Limited!
Is the silver bullet. Huge rerate after financing and offtake agreements and especially a few months before the first market update after production started there. In the meanwhile these are awesome levels to get in.
Bozmo, Thanks for the insight. Many of us sit and watch this board in hope, its good to get some feedback from those in dialogue. Its fair to say we are all a little bored with the SP now given the slow eradication of legacy issues.... The frustrating thing is it looks like serious movement may now be 12-18 months away before anything gains traction and the SP starts getting interesting. Until then its a buying opportunity (in my view). There are some major shareholders who you would like to think will continue to offer assistance (for stock) if required albeit at the expense of further dilution. The future looks brighter today than 12 months ago. Its a bit like running 17 miles in a marathon, you have come along way but there's a fair way to go! (PS Never run a marathon :-)) Good luck all BN
Update from conversations with company: Firstly, the company are still shortlisting potential CGAs but are beginning preliminary due diligence in a couple of weeks on a company that fits the requirements and is affordable. Secondly, the company is equally frustrated with regard to the share price given what theyve achieved. They are going to start marketing the company more. I can see their point that previously this was difficult with the sword of Damocles hanging over them. Ive noticed recently there seems to have been a more positive spin in the press so maybe DBs been on a charm offensive! Additionally, if they can either land a second acquisition or when they get Makhado going then theyll be a medium tier producer and have a lot more visibility and increase the profile of the company. They are aiming to get a better spread of institutional shareholders, which will help liquidity in the stock. Again Im left positive, they seem to be doing the rights things and they are confident a rise in the share price will come. Theyre definitely getting there
......what's happening? Price stagnation - negligible volume Any views on timescales for further news / updates?
What are the volumes roughly , of coal being produced to be classified as a mid-tier coal mining company ?
Closed period until quarterlies are released.
With the volume on offer , the buyers have headed for the hills i'my sure led by the directors ! The way things have unravelled for cza and given the relatively short time span (the last 9 months ) it's really unfathomable that there is such selling pressure with so sparse buying support at this pitiful share price. There has to be an underlying reason for the share price not to have gained significant momentum to the up side since RIO was put to rest!
Would not hurt for a director to buy some.
