"The more you hold (i.e. CUSN) the more CL you get."
Its appealing, but where has this idea come from MO? Has CUSN communicated to you that they will be exchanging their royalty agreement for shares in CL, which they then will distribute to CUSN shareholders? I have not heard anything on those lines...... I would have thought CUSN would have welcomed the cash flow, and would be loathe to give it up.....
Have emailed CL chairman on rationale behind TechMets 13.5p buy-in so will report back with any response
Spot on vis. CL know the demand from the public on this one. EG ITM hydrogen based in sheffield rised £250m in less than 24 hours from funds and specialist investors. £250m in 24 hours.
Imagine what CL could do ;-)
Sorry but as vis points out people will be buying now for the access hopefully to CUSN investors bagging a load of cheaper shares next year. The more you hold the more CL you get. Simple.

Good to hear you were in good voice last night.
I agree with you about the first revenue for CUSN coming from CL royalties. The timeline for CL's development of Lithium appears to be much shorter than that for CUSN's tin or copper.
Lithium from hard rock has available huge waste tips of already mined material which can be processed using the Lepidico process. It is just a case of setting up a test plant, testing the process, then setting up the real deal.
For Lithium from brine, it is a case of drilling 2km deep holes and using a simple and cheap direct extraction process. I could see that up and running in a short time period.
Whereas, for tin and copper it is a case of proving the resources, with drill rigs and analysis, then raising finance, then de-watering SC, then restoring/setting up the mine. So, likely 4 years. Although that seems a long way off, the potential value when it happens is huge. We are likely to be talking of billions. So every small step of the way through that 4 years, could see a significant rise in the market cap/share price of CUSN, currently only £52m.
Morning VIS.
I'm good thanks , horse throat from singing too much. Just got up.
So all I have done is sleep since our last chat. Day out today so off the radar for research and working tomorrow.
As you know I have said pretty much from the start and with this deal I am now even more sure that - and I repeat myself once again - lithium brine in my very honest opinion WILL be first revenue for CUSN.
Now i have also said the shareholders who post on here are hear because this is a tin and copper share. I have said I would much reduce my lithium knowledge and posting on here as it was naffing some off who are tin bugs and copper bugs. I get that and want to show respect for the vastly superior knowledge they hold over me on these metals and the mining of.
So my initial redacted answer is TechMet is a BIG deal in many ways and about 2 levels above for a Cornish mine and who it could get to invest in them. This is big. I refer to my nightine post - I have actually studied one of their assets in the last 6 months across in the US. They are imho 'currently' as markets, ceos , ownerships can change but currently I am extremely happy.
Expect CL to get a rapid clip on. Revenues now imho look like they will come faster and bigger than many on here will recognise. CL have US attention for lithium.
The only example I can use is. Man City.
Old carp ground. You have the little old burger van on site. The Arab owners come in and make it the best club in Europe. Your little burger van is still on site and you can charge more for your higher income crowds and maybe sell to the prawn sandwich brigade. The WHOLE set up is upgraded by new money coming in. It feels if we are on the US radar they may well be even bigger eyes on us ahead.
Yesterday I told you about Cinovec back in 2018. VW & ASIAN MAJOR were AT the table 100%. Then the czech gov got greedy and stopped those deals and wanted their cut. The likes of VW & ASIA just dont go away they want asset security of supply.
BUY and WATCH THIS SPACE !!! Good luck all
Major Oak. Sounds like you had a good night out.
Re your question about another Crowdcube deal for Cornish Lithium (not CUSN), please see my post of last night at 21.26 pm. The deal between Cornish Lithium and TechMet has left me feeling dismayed. Whilst I am yet to read about what TechMet can bring to the table that others cannot, so I may turn more positive, I cannot escape the thought that either the last Crowdcube raise by CL was at too high a price, i.e. 16p/share, or that the raise now being put forward to shareholders is at too low a price 13.5p /share. Given the offer being made to TechMet involves also giving them board representation, warrants and what looks like the decision as to where production goes, I am yet to find enthusiasm for this deal. Like you there are other Crowdcube investors who would probably have invested further money without all the extras being offered to TEchMet. After all since the last Crowdcube raise, public perception of the need for Lithium has increased with COP26, so another Crowdcube raise should have been easier perhaps at a higher price, albeit rather soon after the last one.
Whatever you or I might think, it looks as if the deal will go through, as the directors are recommending it, and they (currently) have over 50% of the shares.
Fortunately for CUSN shareholders i.e. the main readers of this board, the fact that CL has got access to more funding and sooner, is good news as it brings forward the time when CUSN might receive royalties, and it brings forward the likely IPO at which point CUSN can liquidate its shareholding if it then so wishes.
Evening ,vis. Just back from an evening out in the welsh boarders , The Tivoli, Buckley and the Charlatans 31st celebration your. Like a kid in a sweat shop for me start to finish. Grrrreat night.
Anyway, good day all round. Q - does the TechMet deal negate the soon to be raising on crowdcube now ?
Got a load of cash ready to snap up the crowdcube issue. Guess that is now going to be nulified as the amounts from next year will need to increase as they scale up testing and demo plants for rock & brine - that is CL.
The raising for CUSN i guess will be standard market loan, gov loans and maybe another investor directly in CUSN ?
