Apart from afri_id there has now been no business update since the 25th august.
The reason why I’m still here after 7 months is it could be another novacyt . If we are in talks with the govt you have to take into account the way govt works, they will not allow any media input at all . I have noticed on talk radio stations that a digital passport has been discussed at length in the past week, the government want to control the media spin as its a big decision.
It would surprise me if the company wasn’t bought they’ve done that before with NHS contracts.
Wouldn’t surprise me
I agree with this. There's a phase 1 rollout to an initial 66 councils for large employers (200 ppl+) to implement rapid testing at business site level linked to an App and a new National Testing Platform, which also reports positive cases to the NHS system. No names mentioned. All PPE and test kit provided. The language used by Staffordshire council leaders and the system sounds alot like Synovate Global.
Stoke and Staffordshire council have confirmed that they are using the government system to input the results into so I'd imagine that all the other councils would do the same. Nothing to do with CTEA
Criz, thought you said that you'll be away for 2 months.....couldn't resist coming back then??!!!
Crizmo can you post that please. Unless you have seen an article that I haven't, I believe you are mistaken.
Test results are available in around 30 minutes and are captured on a dedicated app for sites to submit into the national testing platform. They will also trigger NHS contact tracing for those who test positive.
That's the article extract - its business site by site testing. Result auto sent to App and a site level central platform, which is then submitted to a national platform. Clue is in "for sites to submit". So it could be CTEA.
I actually thought it was CTEA and maybe I was wrong and they would actually sign a contract with someone. So I mailed them and I got this back.
"The short answer is that this all links into the governments coronavirus systems -
https://log-coronavirus-test-site-results.service.gov.uk/"
Yes, its not been 2 months. I'm weak.
This was from a guy called Chris Kirkland.
Obviously it all links to the government system! Don’t think that’s the point here. But either way we don’t know for sure. I’m not bothered really. So so much going on. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Look at all the vaccine stuff now coming up on Synovate global website, not forgetting all the testing stuff, NPH who use our products & African diseases stuff which I am 100% sure will play a massive role. And that’s just all the new stuff - Synovate Global stuff. The stuff basically that I think will 10 bag this SP
You can see this is the system where they input the results. They're not going to put it into 2 different areas. They are his words, not mine.
That was the point here. I was replying to DShox post suggesting that SASCC were likely to be using the CTEA JV solution.
I mailed back to specifically ask if it was logged into a third party app as well as that .GOV website and he said no. So we do know for sure.
If you don't believe me then feel free to mail them yourself. You'll get the same response.
erm yes we know it links to the Gov system but you are missing what system links to that system. I can imagine the reaction at company HQ receiving that email. Best to read and then read again. Btw, its fantastic it does link to Gov.
I dont think you've read my second post. The council confirmed they only enter the details straight into the government gateway. No other apps are used. So CTEA
have 0% involvement in this government scheme. Maybe it does link up with the gov system but its not doing that in this instance.
I read it and again, it still doesn't rule out CTEAs system at the site level. You need to understand there will be two systems, with positive results sent to the government's track and trace platform. Also, I said "could be" not "likely". Re-read all.
If this had happened it would have been RNS'd by now. If a contract had been signed with the government it would be large enough to force CTEA to RNS it seeing as CTEA don't make much money. This contract would surely fit into the category of affecting the SP. How long ago is it now that CTEA were said to be on the cliff egde?
Now you're asking. No company has been named. Check back the history of this bb and you'll see this discussion point. Very exciting.
